Infinity Ward pushed a playlist update out to Warzone players across all platforms today which includes Duos for the first time.
A Duos queue has arguably been the most highly requested feature since the launch of Warzone back in March. The Call of Duty battle royale briefly replaced Trios with Quads last month but has since included Solos, Trios, and Quads on the playlist — everything but Duos.
Splitting up the playlist in any game can be a tricky task simply because it divides the player base into separate queues and has the potential to increase the wait time between games. Despite the lack of Duos queue, players have always had the ability to queue for either Trios and Quads and play with a random or lock the party size, entering Verdansk as a party of 2 against parties of 3 or 4.
The requests for a Duos queue have been constant, and fortunately, developers Infinity Ward have answered by giving players exactly what they want. Now when players load up Warzone, they will have a choice between Solos, Duos, Trios, Quads, and Plunder Quads.
