If you’re sitting there watching the credits of Dying Light 2 roll by and wishing it didn’t have to end, you may be in luck. According to a leaker, Dying Light 2 may be gearing up to release some DLC as they claim to have found game information regarding Elyseum, a region in Dying Light 2 currently inaccessible to players.

This news comes from Redditor Sekurko who has shared a bunch of encrypted localization files that reveal what seems to be locations within Elyseum. The information contains the backstory on several neighborhoods within Elyseum as well as the names of certain quests that all seem to take place in Elyseum as well.

For those that aren’t aware, Elyseum is a fairly large location within Dying Light 2 that is currently inaccessible to all players no matter the choices they make. However, footage of Elyseum was used to market Dying Light 2 before it launched, leading fans to speculate that this area was simply cut from the game due to time constraints, or is being added as part of a DLC expansion.

Thankfully, Dying Light 2 fans won’t have to wait too long to find out the Elyseum area will be included in future DLC as Techland has already announced that the next Story DLC will launch this June. This was announced all the way back in January when Techland revealed the game’s first few months of post-launch support. If this information found by Sekurko is anything to go by, we can assume that this Story DLC in June will allow players to explore Elyseum.

And if you’re really enjoying Dying Light 2, you’ll be pleased to know that the developers are planning to continue supporting the title well into the future. Back in January, Techland committed to supporting the game post-launch for at least five years, so there will be plenty of things to do for those that don’t want to leave the world of Dying Light 2 for very long.
