Dying Light 2's Minimum PC Specs Have Been Revealed

Dying Light 2 will need some pretty hefty PC specs if you want to play with ray tracing.

Techland has released Dying Light 2's PC system requirements, and gamers might be in for a shock. Techland recommends an RTX 3080 for playing at 1080p, 60fps, with ray tracing on.

We'll start with the minimum system requirements, which are far more reasonable. If you're after a more console-like experience of 1080p resolution at 30fps, then you'll just need a 4-core processor and a GTX 1050 Ti. Nvidia has recently re-released this card thanks to the global chip shortage, so it shouldn't be too hard to come by. You can also use a Radeon RX 560 if you've got one, but AMD hasn't re-released those cards so they can be a little hard to find.

For a bump up to 60fps, Techland recommends an RTX 2060 with 16GB of RAM. Nvidia also recently announced an updated RTX 2060 would hit store shelves soon, so you might be able to find one for a reasonable price.

If you're looking to play Dying Light 2 with ray tracing on, then Techland recommends an RTX 2070 or an RX Vega 56 GPU as a bare minimum. This will still only get you 1080p resolution at 30fps.

And finally, if you want the best experience possible on PC, Techland says you'd better have an RTX 3080 handy. It's only been chronically out of stock for months and is probably the hardest to find PC component in the world right now, so no pressure or anything. Even if you do have one, Techland only promises 1080p resolution at 60fps.
