This month marks the seven-year anniversary of the launch of Dying Light. Its sequel, Stay Human was originally slated to arrive two years ago, yet it still isn't here. Well, the extended wait is almost over. Dying Light 2: Stay Human will launch on February 4, 2022, and with less than three weeks to go until the big day, you'd have to think it is now too late to delay the release date even further. Here's hoping anyway.

Further evidence that there's no stopping Dying Light 2 now is information regarding its PlayStation Trophy list. While not officially revealed by Techland or PlayStation just yet, the full rundown has been leaked and can be found at Exophase. Fair warning before you click through, some of the trophies waiting to be won have names and requirements that spoil some of Stay Human's plot points. None of the information regarding plot-spoiling trophies will be shared here.

There will be 58 trophies to unlock, totaling 1350 points towards your trophy score. You will unlock them by performing tasks like activating a water tower, using a Metro Station to fast travel, and opening all airdrops. There are also a couple of trophies tied to playing Dying Light 2's co-op, so those of you who like to play alone but really want that platinum will need to grin and bear a teammate for a while.

The biggest story to come out of Dying Light 2 this close to launch was the reveal that it will include 500 hours of entertainment. Techland has since confirmed that's only for people who want to do absolutely everything like experience every alternate ending. The good news is even those after the aforementioned platinum seemingly won't need to spend 500 hours hunting for it. The gold “complete the game” trophy can be unlocked via experiencing any ending, no need to try and get all of them.

There certainly appears to be a lot on the shoulders of Dying Light 2 as we move closer and closer to its launch. Between two years of delays and scaring potential players with the 500 hours brag, Stay Human will need to be pretty great right off the bat and not need an array of fixes like a few delayed major titles have needed in recent history.
