The world’s largest video game conference continued to shock and surprise fans as iconic developer Ubisoft took the E3 2019 stage to share their latest and upcoming games. The creators behind franchises like Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, Far Cry and of course Assassin’s Creed showed a great lineup of games this year.

Surprisingly, while the developers showed off a few new games coming to gamers, most of the big announcements for Ubisoft came from updates to their previously released games. No new Assassin’s Creed game was announced, but here are the ten best games Ubisoft showed off at E3 2019.

10 Brawlhalla: Adventure Time

One of the first games that was announced is one that is actually going to be available to play now. The very popular platform brawler Brawlhalla was featured on the E3 2019 stage, and with it came the surprise announcement of the integration of the very popular franchise Adventure Time from Cartoon Network.

The game showed off three new playable characters from the show. There was of course Finn the human, Jake the Dog and Princess Bubblegum are all going to be there available to play and fight with (or against), making it a fun E3 2019 announcement to share.

9 Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad

It’s safe to say that the Tom Clancy brand has never been stronger for Ubisoft, and the latest mobile game to break through for the brand is none other than Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad. The mobile game is a 5x5 battle game that takes characters from Tom Clancy’s most popular franchise, from Ghost Recon and The Division to Rainbow Six and Splinter Cell.

The game will feature a story mode, which will see various heroes from these franchises to fight enemies and save the world from some global threat. No release details were revealed on the E3 2019 stage presentation.

8 Just Dance 2020

One of Ubisoft’s most popular family friendly games has to be Just Dance, and the latest game of the franchise was announced on the E3 2019 stage as Just Dance 2020. The game will celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the franchise, and of course will feature a whole slew of new songs to dance to.

Songs like "God is a Woman" by Ariana Grande and "High Hopes" by Panic! At The Disco will be featured on the game, but the most shocking news comes in the form of the original Nintendo Wii, which the game will be featured on.

7 For Honor: Shadows of the Hitokiri

While fans were hoping to see a sequel to For Honor at the E3 2019 conference, the developers have yet to announce that game. That might be because the developers are not done with their first game in the series yet, as the announcement for the game proves today.

For Honor: Shadows of the Hitokiri is a brand new twist on the game, as the Vikings, Samurai, Knights and Wu Lin are going to be fighting their first supernatural threat in the franchise. The game will see the factions fighting one another to see who can collect the most souls.

6 Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Quarantine

One of the most popular franchises under the Tom Clancy/Ubisoft umbrella has to be the Rainbow Six series. In the large swath of games in the Tom Clancy universe announced by Ubisoft at E3 2019, Rainbow Six: Quarantine made huge waves and introduced a whole new element to the Rainbow Six universe.

Set several years into the future of the franchise, gamers come to learn that the Rainbow Six team must neutralize and save people as an alien parasite begins to infect and control the human host, turning them into almost zombie like creatures who will attack you relentlessly.

5 Tom Clancy’s The Division 2

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is less than two months old now, but the game made a huge splash on E3 2019 as Ubisoft announced a whole new slate of DLC for the game. The story driven DLC, known as episodes, will be part of Year 1 of the game’s story narrative.

The first episode will take gamers outside of the city limits for the first time, and will see the team exploring and searching for the President Ellis and the leader of the Outcasts near the National Zoo. This first episode will release in July and feature cooperative challenges.

4 Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

The biggest Tom Clancy game of the whole E3 2019 Ubisoft conference had to be Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. The game stars The Punisher star Jon Bernthal as the leader of the Wolves, a team made up of former Ghosts who have advanced weaponry and a large army set on the open world Pacific island (fictional) Auroa.

Not only did Bernthal make an appearance at the conference, but the game will release in October 2019, with the Beta going live in September. As Nomad, you will be forced to regroup with your teammates after crash landing on this island.

3 Roller Champions

One of the new games announced by Ubisoft that made a shocking impression on the E3 2019 crowd was Roller Champions. The game takes place in a futuristic setting, where roller derby has become the predominant sport of the world and is revered nearly as much as the old gladiator games of Ancient Rome.

The game is a 3v3 gameplay style, with two teams competing against one another to be the first to score 5 points. Each team is allowed to tackle and knock out opponents, and surviving with the ball will reward you 1 point per lap in game.

2 Gods and Monsters

One of the most shocking reveals came at the end of the conference, when Ubisoft announced at E3 2019 that the creators of the popular Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey were not announcing a new entry in that popular franchise, but were building upon the heavy mythology aspects of the last game in the series to build a brand new game, titled Gods and Monsters.

In the game players will control a warrior with god-like powers, who must face monsters like the Gorgon, Hydras and the Cyclops in order to save the Greek gods. The game is due out February 2020.

1 Watch Dogs: Legion

The biggest reveal came at the beginning of the conference, as Ubisoft showed off their first game of E3 2019, Watch Dogs: Legion. The third game in the franchise takes place in the near future version of London, where the city has become ruled by tyrannical corporations who use drones, robots and ctOS to target innocent civilians.

The game made a huge impression, as not only was the scenery beautiful, but it was shown that players would be able to recruit any NPC in the game world to join your cause, making millions of characters surrounding you possible playable heroes.
