Xbox Series X is finally here and, while it doesn't have a stellar launch lineup, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers now have access to the entirety of the EA Play catalog. That includes the recently added Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Battlefield 5.

EA Play adds more than 60 titles to the monthly subscription. Beyond Fallen Order and Battlefield 5, you'll also gain access to FIFA 20, Titanfall 2, Need for Speed Heat, and franchises such as Mass Effect, Skate, and The Sims.

Game Pass for PC will see the new EA Play games on December 15, but select games are now available on Android via cloud gaming. These include Madden 20, Mass Effect: Andromeda, and The Sims 4.

Xbox Game Pass should be more than enough to keep us busy while we wait for some of the better exclusives to drop in 2021. Halo Infinite was going to be the console-seller this year, but some delays have pushed in back until next year. With EA Play now part of Game Pass, however, you'll at least be able to get your FPS fix with Battlefield 5 before Black Ops Cold War launches on November 13.

Microsoft also recently announced that Game Pass Ultimate will now come with a 30-day free trial of Disney+. Series X includes a built-in app for the service – among many others – so you might as well give it a shot if you're already a subscriber. Star Wars fans should be especially happy with the content they have at launch, with Fallen Order on EA Play and The Mandalorian on Disney+.

Reviews for the Series X have been generally positive, with the biggest complaint not about the system itself but its lack of exclusive games. PS5 is at least launching with a new Spider-Man title, but Microsoft doesn't have anything of a similar caliber ready for today. Still, with Game Pass, Disney+, and new EA Play games, you should have more than enough to tide you over until the wave of exclusives comes crashing down in 2021.
