Sad that nobody has yet to come forward to accuse any of their executives of sexual misconduct, EA has put out a statement asking for individuals to speak out.

Despite the recent string of allegations made against powerful individuals and companies in the gaming industry, EA has been able to avoid any finger-pointing. At least, so far. New allegations are popping up all the time, and a company as large as EA is certain to have some skeletons in the closet.

So perhaps that's why EA is trying to get ahead of the issue by being proactive. EA released a statement earlier this week that calls on all of its employees and players to report sexual harassment and misconduct wherever and whenever they see it.

"We want to be very clear on our position: these behaviors are never ok -- not in our communities or any others," the company wrote. "Electronic Arts supports everyone that has come forward to report abuse and we are asking anyone who has experienced any kind of harassment or sexual misconduct in our community to come forward."

EA notes that they have programs and services in place to deal with any internal harassment cases. If an EA employee wishes to report misconduct, they can speak to their manager or report it to their People Experience Leader. If they're concerned about reprisal and wish to remain anonymous, employees can speak through the Raise a Concern program.

If you’re a player and experience harassment or abuse online from either another player, EA employee, or an EA affiliate (either through the Game Changer community or Competitive Gaming Player program), then you can report the issue in-game or online using this resource.

"We take every allegation seriously and we investigate it,” says EA. “We are deeply committed to ensuring there is a safe space for people to come forward and taking the right actions on behalf of our community."

Thus far, EA has remained largely untouched by the string of allegations that have swept the gaming industry. Two Ubisoft executives have been placed on administrative leave after misconduct accusations came to light, while Insomniac Games remains under fire for fostering an environment that protects men who harass women.
