Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has seemingly confirmed Arnold Schwarzenegger will be voicing The Terminator in Mortal Kombat 11.

Boon took to Twitter to sort of reveal Schwarzenegger will be lending his voice for the upcoming T-800, who'll be joining Mortal Kombat 11's roster as the latest DLC fighter. "Part of me still can’t believe we got Arnold," Boon wrote on Twitter. Up until now, it was unclear if Schwarzenegger will indeed be the one voicing the character in the game.

Developer NetherRealm Studios recently announced the full roster for the first Kombat Pack. T-800 will arrive on October 8, right before the release of the new Terminator film Dark Fate, which hits theaters on October 23. Though actual gameplay footage for The Terminator hasn't been unveiled yet, his character design does look menacing and quite detailed. He looks exactly like Schwarzenegger, so it would've been odd if someone else voiced the menacing T-800.

The rest of the upcoming new fighters includes Sindel, who'll arrive on November 28. The clown prince of crime himself The Joker will come out on January 28. He has a completely different design in Mortal Kombat 11, and is not at all similar to Joaquin Phoenix's upcoming take on the character. Spawn will be the last character from the first Kombat Pack to join the fight on March 17, 2020.

As for some of the other characters fans would like to see as part of the second Kombat Pack, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series has been in high demand. A rumor floating around is that Ash will indeed be a DLC character further down the line. The Doom Slayer from the Doom franchise is another rumored upcoming fighter.

Nightwolf is the newest DLC fighter who's currently available to download. The character was first introduced in Mortal Kombat 3. He has two distinct Kompetitive variations, and has proven to be yet another fantastic addition to the roster. The first DLC fighter to arrive was none other than Shang Tsung, who was also well received. Given the success of these two new additions, fans should be excited to play as The Terminator, Schwarzenegger voice and all.
