Ever the cheeky lad, Ed Boon is teasing Mortal Kombat fans about Mileena being added to Mortal Kombat 11 again.

Boon's trolling started innocently enough, with the creative director of Mortal Kombat 11, commenting on the recent price hike of Youtube TV. However, Boon did add a seemingly unrelated hashtag to the tweet, signing off with #WeWantMileena with an eye roll emoji. Some fans, who are desperate for Mileena to join Mortal Kombat 11 via DLC, jumped on what they viewed as an insult to their passions.

Ever the master of trolling, Boon was not content to leave it there. Looking for a flawless victory, he tweeted out two more tweets aimed at Mileena's diehard fans.

The first was an image of a maskless Mileena holding an assault rifle with the words "Mileena For DLC." It seems very unlikely that Mileena is trading in her trademark dual-sai wielding ways for a foray into the world of assault rifles. Instead, it has to be seen as Boon poking fun at the expense of her passionate fans.

Boom closed the Mileena tweets by commenting on some fan art of the character being added to the game via Kombat Pack 2. Boon said that if Mileena were brought to Mortal Kombat 11, she would technically be part of Kombat Pack 3.

As of now, Mileena has not been announced as a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11, nor was she one of the characters mentioned in a leak for Kombat Pack 3. More than likely, this just started with Boon having a bit of fun.

But who knows? In our social media age, fans now have the platform to give their feedback directly to creators, and many projects have undergone alterations and additions because of fan input.

Famously, Sonic the Hedgehog was redesigned in his film debut because of the fan outcry at his less than stellar initial appearance, and even more recently, the leaked Crysis Remastered was delayed in response to fan reaction of the remaster.

So if you are a fan of Mileena, and want to see her added to Mortal Kombat 11, go forth and let your voice be heard. Just don't be a jerk.
