More "kontent" for Mortal Kombat 11 seems to be on the way as the game reaches a milestone of eight million "kopies" sold worldwide.

It only makes sense to support a best-selling title, so the director of Mortal Kombat 11 said on Twitter that NetherRealm Studios aren't done yet. He told fans of the game to stay tuned to see "what's next for MK11" sometime this week. The message also came with the hashtag #KombatKontinues in the series' signature hatred of the letter C.

A new Kombat Pack is likely on the way, which will follow up what Aftermath offered earlier this year. Recent data mines point to John Rambo, Rain, and Mileena being a part of the next content pack. Rambo would definitely fit in with the likes of Robocop, another 80s cinematic icon. He is also known for a lot of bloodshed in his films. We're expecting a lot of muscles and guns with his presumed inclusion in the game.

Mileena is a fan favorite who appeared in the story of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath but never became playable, so if she is included in Kombat Pack 3, she will be welcomed into the roster. Rain also made a cameo in MK11, but his last playable appearance was in the Mortal Kombat reboot on the PS3 and Xbox 360. He has water and psychic abilities that will hopefully translate well into the modern era.

Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath will also be celebrating the Halloween season with free new costumes for Johnny Cage (A Teen Wolf-like outfit), Sub-Zero, (Blizzard King), and D'vorah (nurse). D'vorah's skin actually has injections as part of her skin as she's attacking foes.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (via Steam), and you can get a bundle with the DLC pack Aftermath alongside the initial game. Aftermath includes an all-new story, three characters (Robocop, Sheeva, and Fujin), three stages, and friendship finishers for $39.99. ScreenRant's Christopher J. Teuton called the expansion bloated and expensive but he said that the extended story was well-told and has a lot of easter eggs that the fans would appreciate. He ultimately gave it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.
