Edge of Eternity tells its dramatic tale across several chapters numbering dozens of hours in total. In most chapters, weapons can be crafted to improve your party's battle readiness and ease the difficulty during Midgar Studio's punishingly tough boss fights. Generally speaking, these crafted weapons will see you through just fine.

But as the game reaches its final beats, Edge of Eternity eschews the importance of crafting in favor of five ultimate weapons – one for each major character – which must be found throughout the world. Armed with these mighty artifacts, Selene and friends can truly bring a lasting peace to their realms, so let's get down to business with every ultimate weapon that Edge of Eternity has to offer.

Daryon's Best Weapon: Drakefang

Edge of Eternity Drakefang 1

Our hero's finest blade is known as Drakefang. The treasure chest housing this Level 50 sword is situated toward the front side on the linear path up the Sacred Mountain Berenroth. It's nestled between icy arches. Odds are solid that you'll have a better vantage point of when descending the mountain rather than ascending it, so if you're having difficulty just turn back around until you spot it. (The map marker in our screenshot should help, of course.)

Selene's Best Weapon: Silverwing Staff

Edge of Eternity Silverwing Staff

Selene's Silverwing Staff is situated not far from Daryon's Drakefang, all things considered. You'll find it on the Sacred Mountain as well.

The best way to describe the Silverwing's precise coordinates is to tell you that it's found within one of the mountain's cavernous stretches, specifically the one that's immediately prior to the fourth part in 'Her True Mission'.

Ysoris' Best Weapon: Pale Blue Horse

Edge of Eternity Pale Blue Horse

If you're beginning to wonder if every Edge of Eternity character's ultimate weapon can only be unlocked during the game's second chapter, the answer is yes. Ysoris' Pale Blue Horse awaits its destined wielder at the Clockwork. There's a treasure close to the entrance to the cave here. It's somewhat hard to miss, but if you do strugle to spot it, tilt the controls around until it comes into plain view.

Fallon's Best Weapon: Divine Breath

Edge of Eternity Clockwork Fields

Also in the Clockwork area is Fallon's gun, Divine Breath. This weapon is awkwardly-placed even by the standards of Edge of Eternity's other ultimate weapons! While you're out in the field, search behind the village's ruined buildings until you come upon an area with one of the egg demons. You'll need to kill it (or ward it of somehow, at least) and find the spot with three rather conspicuous eggs.

Theia's Best Weapon: Heavenswrath Discus

Edge of Eternity Obsidian Tablet

The Heavenswrath Discus is a little more involved than the rest of the party's ultimate weapons. At the cathedral on the Sacred Mountain, there's a character to interact with named Alpharius. You'll find them standing outside the sizable structure, just itching to dole out a quest involving the acquisition of 16 (!) fragments of the Obsidian Tablet.

Frankly, there's no better time to fully explore the mountainside (including fetching the Drakefang and Silverwing Staff), because you'll be running up and down its slopes for a while. None of the Obsidian Tablet's fragments are particularly hard to spot, and given the limited number of weapons available to Theia in general, snagging her best piece is well worth the effort.
