Eiyuden Chronicle Rising and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes were both announced during the Xbox and Bethesda E3 showcase, coming in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

Developed by Rabbit & Bear Studios and published by 505 Games, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a brand new JRPG that is considered to be a spiritual successor to the Suikoden series. The game made a number of heads turn when it was first revealed on Kickstarter in 2020, raising ¥481,621,841 million from just over 45,000 backers, becoming 2020's most successful Kickstarter project. When you take a peek at the trailer, it's easy to see why.

With a gorgeous visual style very reminiscent of other JRPGS such as Octopath Traveller, and a six-character battle system complete with unique animations, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes looks to be one of the more unique JRPGs out there. Unfortunately, there was no release date announced, but the game is expected to launch at some point in 2023. It's a long way away, but there's another Eiyuden Chronicle game coming sooner that will tide you over.

Eiyuden Chronicle Rising was announced alongside Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and seems to be some kind of smaller spin-off title with a real-time combat system. Not much was shown outside of a little bit of combat, but the game shares the same art style as Hundred Heroes and will be launching at some point in 2022. Both games will be launching on PC and PlayStation consoles as well, but Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes will be playable on Xbox Game Pass on the day of release.

In case you missed the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, a number of new and exciting projects were announced to excite Xbox owners. A few of the games announced were The Outer Worlds 2, a full sequel to Obsidian's open-world space title, Forza Horizon 5 which is taking players to Mexico, and a brand new shooter from Arkane Studios called Redfall which can be played solo or with a group of friends.

What's even more exciting is that the vast majority of the titles announced during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase will be playable on day one with Xbox Game Pass.
