Elden Ring is already, like other Soulsborne games, inspired by Berserk. It's one of director Hidetaka Miyazaki's key sources which shines through in the armour, weapons, world, enemies, and even the giant tree looming over the Lands Between. But one fan has taken it a step further, without copyright restrictions, and added Guts' set to the game.

Berserker Armor and Dragon Slayer is a mod that swaps out the Night's Cavalry set and greatsword with Guts' armour and weapon, meaning that you can conquer the lords of the Lands Between and rise as the most powerful Tarnished with style. There are two variants you can use - the Berserker set and the Berserker (Altered) set alongside the Cannon Arm. It's an "iron prosthesis with bandages", styled on Guts' look in the Manga.

You can get the armour as you would normally get the Night's Cavalry set in the game, but the mod also adds the set to the Twin Maiden Husks shop for 1,000 Runes a pop, so you can get dressed up right out of the gate granted you have enough. But each piece of the set is designed with the whole outfit in mind, so mixing and matching with other armours might not work.

Elden Ring Berserk mod #2

Creator mattplara recommends using Mod Engine 2 to install it, linking several videos that explain how modding in Elden Ring works. But with it modifying what's sold in an NPC storefront, using this mod online is likely to land you with at least a softban, so be sure to boot up the game offline.

Granted that you have the right sliders setup and a decent Guts-looking character, you can really get into the Berserk spirit and start cutting up Margit and co. with a comically large greatsword and some slick black armour. But it's not the only cosmetic Elden Ring mod to add black armour.

Another modder has brought Darth Vader's armour and lightsaber to the game - combined with the right magic, and you can really make for an unrelenting force user.
