FromSoftware games have gained a well-earned reputation for offering a challenge. The recently released Elden Ring is no different. The RPG is a tough trek into a fantasy world that will test players’ skills and patience. It seems some of the most popular mods for the PC version of the game offer cheats to scale that challenge down…way down (thanks GamesRadar).

Over on Nexus Mods, searching for Elden Ring will take you to the game’s main page where the most popular mods are listed. Sitting at the top of that list is a mod that adjusts the stats and equipment of your character. According to the description, this adjustment will take you from a simple tarnished to running around “shooting 100 spells per second and flying across the map”. The cheat is called “Elden Ring Ultimate Table” and it includes infinite health, FP, stamina, items, and much more. It adds an easy parry feature, teleportation, one-hit kill, super speed, and frozen enemies. So, if Elden Ring is just a bit too difficult for you, this mod will remedy that.

The second popular mod for the game is another cheat simply labeled “Elden Ring Cheat Table”. This will give players the option to edit equipment, weapons, accessories, and Ashes within the game. It will also let you edit items, runes, health, and other character stats to create a character ready to face Godrick the Grafted head-on. However, the cheat does come with some warnings. According to the description on Nexus Mods, this cheat should not be used in online environments, and players should not “abuse the system, bypass functions, or cause harmful activities online”. Other than that, have fun whaling on those unsuspecting crabs.

Elden Ring Fight

While these cheats may seem a little much, if you've ever played a FromSoftware title you may empathize with the process that led to such drastic action. Of course, if you think the difficulty on Elden Ring is the perfect blend of challenge and fun, you can always take advantage of the other mods for the game. These mostly deal with aesthetic improvements like HDR reshading and lighting enhancements. There is also a popular mod that incorporates a pause button into the game.
