Elden Ring's The Lands Between is huge, with large open areas, underground caverns that once held cities, and more. You will travel over mountains and through marshlands throughout your adventure, and though Torrent is an excellent travel companion, the steed cannot access every part of the vast world.

Fast travel between sites of grace is a quick way to get around if you have managed to find them. Then there are waygates dotted across the map. These teleporters can send you across great distances, like tiny stone Stargates, or help you get to a spot otherwise inaccessible. Like all FromSoftware titles, you can expect a few surprises here and there. This is a list of all teleporters in the game for those who like to know what to expect.

4

Stormveil Castle Bridge

Divine Tower of Limgrave

Limgrave is the game's opening area, and as such, FromSoftware decided to use it to teach you a lesson about trusting chests differently than they have in the past. Two of the four teleporters in the region are traps designed to send you, the freshly risen Tarnished, to areas that are likely well out of your depth.

The chest in the Dragon-Burnt Ruins will send you to a crystal mine in dangerous Caelid. One of the chests in Patches' chamber in Murkwater Cave will send you into the Mistwood, home of massive Lesser Runebear. The waygate in Stormveil Castle is tough to get to, as it's guarded by several enemies, a lion guardian, and several golems. Come prepared.

8 Weeping Peninsula

Elden Ring Teleport Map Weeping Peninsula with numbers

The Weeping Peninsula is the area south of Limgrave. This rainy bit of land only has a single Transporter Trap, located in the Tower of Return, on the southern end of the map, on the west side of the Minor Erdtree. This chest will send you clear across the map, all the way north to the Royal Capital, Leyndell.

This region is generally accessed later on in the game, so it can be quite the adventure if you open that chest too early. It sends you to the Divine Bridge site of grace in the capital, but there won't be much for you to do until you collect two great runes. Oh, there also is a giant golem.

Liurnia of the Lakes is an enormous section of the Lands Between, located just north of Stormveil Castle and home of the Raya Lucaria Academy. West of the Academy, you will find the Four Belfries. Of the four belfries, three contain locked waygates that only imbued stonesword keys can activate.

These keys are located in various places around the map. One waygate leads back to the starting area before you emerge into Limgrave. Find those keys and get your revenge on that Grafted Scion from the start. There is also a waygate in Volcano Manor that takes you to Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy. Because nothing screams boss fight like a volcano lair.

Caelid is a wretched place. The region is a wasteland, with scarlet rot infecting the land and the dead wandering around in droves. There are five waygates in Caelid, but not all of them will be active immediately. Three of these gates will not be active until you take steps to commence the Radahn Festival.

Not only will the festival activate the waygates, but it will also change who is in the castle and which rooms you have access to. Two gates will work from the start. The gate at Gael Fort and the gate on the other side of the bridge from the Impassable Greatbridge site of grace.

5 Altus Plateau

The Altus Plateau is a later game area filled with golden trees and dangerous enemies. Of note, resting at any site of grace in Altus Plateau will activate Redmane Castle's Radahn Festival in Caelid. A lot is happening in this beautiful part of the map if you have progressed far enough in the personal quests of various NPCs, so keep an eye out.

There is only one waygate in the region. It teleports you to the other side of the broken bridge, which is helpful if you have started Corhyn's quest line.

4 Leyndell, Royal Capital

Elden Ring Teleport Map Leyndell with number

The Royal Capital of Leyndell is a late-game area chock full of tough enemies and boss fights. So, so many boss fights. If you are coming to the capital city, you had better be ready. You can get there via the teleporter trap in the Tower of Return, way down in the Weeping Peninsula.

RELATED: How To Defeat Morgott, The Omen King

Leyndell, like Altus Plateau, only has one waygate of its own. It is located on the Divine Bridge and will send you to the Isolated Divine Tower on an island north of the Bestial Sanctum in Caelid.

Miquella's Haligtree

If you are a fan of snow, low visibility, and death, the Consecrated Snowfield is for you. It is a secret area of the game at the foot of the Mountaintops of the Giants. You need to piece together the Haligtree Secret Medalion. You can find three waygates in this snowy wasteland.

RELATED: Elden Ring Bosses That Were Surprisingly Easy

The one to the west will teleport you to Mohgwyn Palace, deep under Caelid. Another to the east will help you get across the deep ravine and river. The third will send you to Miquella's Haligtree, but only after solving a puzzle, so bring your thinking cap. Preferably a warm one.

Teleporter Coffin north of Great Waterfall Basin site of grace

Deeproot Depths

Underground areas of Elden Ring are uniquely beautiful. Nokron, The Eternal City, and the Siofra River are cavern regions that seem to have swallowed the stars before burial. Here, you will find four waygates that will help you navigate around the area. After defeating Starscourge Radahm, you will have access to an upper level of Nokron, leading you to an open coffin. You can then rest in to teleport to the next area, Deeproot Depths. Because obviously. Very few human-sized beings stay dead in the Lands Between. Gotta use the coffins for something.

Deeproot Depths has a coffin and a waygate for you to use. The waygate will teleport you to Leyndell, but only after defeating Fia's Champion and holding a minimum of two great runes. The coffin will send you to Ainsel River Main, where you can make your way down to the appropriately named Lake of Rot. After quickly and carefully crossing the lake, Enter the Grand Cloister, where a coffin will take you to Astel, Naturalborn of the void. Maybe the coffins are a warning after all.
