Elden Ring has numerous tough and challenging boss fights, but there are very few that draw more ire than the Draconic Tree Sentinel in the Capital Outskirts. He's considered by many players across the community as one of the game's first big skill checks, making mincemeat out of any casual players who manage to drag themselves across The Lands Between up to that point.

Well, this reputation seems to have become the Draconic Tree Sentinel's undoing, as for some reason completely unknown reason, he's being bullied by some of the game's most experienced players to show off their overpowered builds. Over the past week, several different users on the official Elden Ring subreddit have been sharing videos of them absolutely pummelling him with their most busted builds.

Everything you can think of is being thrown at this poor guy at the moment, ranging from flame-spewing shields to magical pots. We'll start off with u/Burgerroi, who runs up to the Draconic Tree Sentinel with two shields in hand, one that spits fire and another that shoots exploding fireballs. They initiate the boss fight and simply walk up to the Sentinel, spewing fire until he has to take a minute to recover, before quickly swapping to the fireball shield to deal some massive damage. They then repeat the process and the poor guy goes down.

We then have u/Ajara, who demonstrates that sometimes all you need to do to overcome a tough foe is to repeatedly smash its face in with a big stick. Rather than mess around with fire and magic, they simply take their big club and keep forcing the Draconic Tree Sentinel to stagger, all the while doing massive damage in the process. After about twenty seconds, the boss is down.

Next up, it's u/Unable_Pollution427's turn to make a mockery out of the sentinel, who doesn't even need a big stick (or clothes it seems) to take him down. Instead, they throw a variety of pots filled with all kinds of substances to deal damage, with the Academy Magic Pots doing most of the heavy lifting. They just stand right next to the boss, chuck pots over and over, and he's down for the count.

There are plenty more examples that I could've shown off, that's how widespread this trend has become at the moment. You have to feel sorry for the Draconic Tree Sentinel at some point, although I guess it's nice to see the community bullying a boss that is such a problem for so many casual players. Now if someone could come and bully Malenia for me, that'd be great.
