To defeat this boss, you will have to deal with the Godskin enemies one by one and then kill the snail. Both the Godskins are difficult as they are scaled for mid-late game. They share the same attacks as their previous versions.

Strategies

The boss approaching the player with his Rapier.

There are two strategies for the fight:

Melee Strategy

The player attacking the boss with a melee weapon.

For the melee strategy, you'll want to stay close most of the time and only go away when the bosses use AOE attacks. The Godskin bosses have different combat styles and attacks. You will need to get used to both of them before defeating them. You can summon online players by using Furlcalling Finger Remedy and interacting with Summon Signs near the boss gate or near the Martyr Effigies. Having multiple online players in the fight can help you redirect the boss's aggression and deal more damage.

Using a fast weapon is recommended for these fights. As both the bosses are aggressive and can hit you with combos, you will want to avoid using a heavy weapon and give them a chance to counterattack. If you are going Strength build and a heavy weapon is your only choice, then it is recommended to dodge the attacks and follow up with a jumping heavy attack and then be ready to dodge again. This will do serious damage to the boss and break their poise relatively faster.

For Talisman options, you can go for Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman as it enormously boosts physical damage negation. You can find this Talisman in a chest in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. Aside from that, Erdtree's Favor is also a great Talisman that raises maximum HP, stamina, and equip load. To find this Talisman, you will have to defeat Mohg, the Omen, and loot the chest inside the boss area.

Ranged Strategy

The player using Sorcery on the boss.

For the ranged strategy, you will need hard-hitting Sorceries and Incantations. Any spell that has a long cast time is not recommended for this fight. This is mainly because both Godskin bosses are aggressive, and if you cast for too long, this could bring you to a disadvantage. If you are going for a Sorcery build, Sorceries like Rock Sling, Carian Retaliation, and Stars of Rain are your best choices. This is because these Sorceries have serious output damage and fast cast speed. Rock Sling is good for breaking the boss's poise quicker. Carian Retaliation has absurd tracking and moves fast, allowing you to cast it a considerable number of times. Having Hidden Cerulean Tear in your Wondrous Flask is a must as it negates FP consumption for the next ten seconds.

If you are going as a Faith Build user, you have a lot of Incantations to work with. Fortissax's Lightning Spear, Lightning Spear, and Placidusax's Ruin are great Incantations. Placidusax's Ruin is great but has slow cast speed. It can deal great damage to the boss, but you can get interrupted. If you have high poise or a Tanky Summon assisting you, then you might be able to pull off the whole cast multiple times. You can acquire the Incantation by trading Remembrance of the Dragonlord with Finger Reader Enia at Roundtable Hold.

For Spirit Ash summoning a Tanky Spirit is ideal. This will allow the Spirit Ash to attract the boss's aggression while you unload endless spells at the boss. Lhutel the Headless is a legendary Spirit and one of the best options to go for. If you have high poise and armor yourself then you can also use Mimic Tear to tank the boss. You can find Mimic Tear in Night's Sacred Ground in Nokron, Eternal City.

General Tips

EldenRing-1
  • Be Level 100 or Higher
  • As the arena is a cave-like area, try not to get cornered at one side.
  • Jumping Heavy Attacks will break Godskin Apostle's poise much faster, leading to a critical hit.
  • Try not to attack in between Godskin Noble's combos, as his Rapier attacks can hit for a large amount of your health.
  • If you have a 100% damage resistance Shield, then you should use it against both Godskin.
