These flask effects aren't trivial either. You can give yourself temporary buffs, restore HP and FP at once, or even create an explosion around yourself. We'll leave the theorycrafting for these potions up to you, but for those looking to create some powerful potions, here is a short guide on how to get Elden Ring's Flask of Wondrous Physick.

This article showcases content in the first few hours of Elden Ring with no story spoilers.

Where To Find The Flask Of Wondrous Physick

Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physic Map Location

You'll find the Flask of Wondrous Physick in the Third Church of Marika, a small ruin in the eastern quadrant of Limgrave. You can reach this area right after you unlock Torrent, your trusty steed. Here's how:

  1. Make your way to Gatefront, a Shrine of Grace north of the Church of Elleh.
  2. Follow the road east until you cross a bridge.
  3. After you cross the bridge, look for a dirt road that leads north. Follow that road.
  4. Run past the group of demi-humans and Troll guarding the road. Past the Troll is the church.
  5. Activate the Shrine of Grace, then interact with the stone basin beside it to claim your flask.

Run past any enemies that you find on the path. Once you've obtained the flask, you can continue to follow the road to the south to uncover a map of east Limgrave, making future navigation much easier.

Mixing The Wondrous Physick

Elden Ring Flask of Wondrous Physic Mix Menu

The Flask of Wondrous Physick can be customized at any Shrine of Grace by selecting the "Mix Wondrous Physick" option. Throughout your journey, you'll stumble across crystalized tears that may be mixed into your flask. These tears provide a wide range of buffs from restoring HP to causing a self-centered explosion when consumed. You only have one use of Wondrous Physick between each Shrine of Grace rest; use it wisely. This flask also has a longer animation time than your other flasks, so be mindful of when you use it.

By default, you'll receive Crimson Crystal Tear when obtaining your flask, but there are far more crystallized tears to find. Keep your eyes peeled for minor Erdtrees hidden across the Lands Between to get your hands on these powerful effects. You can only have two tears mixed in your Wondrous Physick at a time, and the tears cannot be the same type.
