Sealed Tunnel is a cave system in the heart of the Atlus Plateau in Elden Ring. It's full of illusionary walls and is the key to reaching the Divine Tower of West Atlus. The entrance to the tunnel is hidden away below the outskirts of Leyndell, Royal Capital. To get there, you must start from the Minor Erdtree Church Site of Grace or the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace.

To the North-East, there are some long rocks you can jump down onto and reach a lower river area. There is an invisible teardrop scarab here. Head South to find the entrance to the cave.

elden ring sealed tunnel grace

At first glance, this just looks like a small cave with nowhere to go. To the right of the Grace and Statue of Marika, there is an illusionary wall.

elden ring sealed tunnel steps

This will lead you to the true cave system. There will be tough-skinned miners here working hard. Smithing Stones (5)-(6) can be found around these enemies. Also, up the short steps is a Golden Rune.

elden ring sealed tunnel fake wall and militiamen

Again, it will seem like this is it for the cave. Below the rafters and steps is a Militiaman waiting to get the jump on you. In front of him is a chest containing Smithing-Stone Miner's Bell Bearing. Hit the wall behind the chest to reveal a fake wall.

The next path will lead you to a wooden lift that leads to another dead end with tree roots. There are safe ledges you can drop down onto, instead of using the lift, to collect more Smithing Stones. Hit or roll into the wall just in the middle of the roots that lay in front of the lift. You'll find a corpse with a Golden Rune. Hit the wall behind the corpse.

elden ring sealed tunnel roots

There are three ways you can go here. To your right, on the wooden raft, will be multiple Militiamen waiting to ambush you. This area then leads to a dead end with a Stonesword Key. From this location, you can look down and notice an Abductor Virgin hiding in a corner at the very bottom of the cave.

If you can inflict ranged damage, it's best to do it here.

elden ring sealed tunnel statue with item inside

Dropping down to the very bottom, you can loot Furcalling Finger Remedy, Golden Rune, and a Rune Arc from off the ground. If you go to the corner the Abductor Virgin was in, you can find a Somber Smithing Stone (5).

There is an item glowing inside the statue near the other loot. The only way to get this item is by baiting the Abductor Virgin to ram into it. Inside the statue are three Smithing Stone (6). There's also a ladder near where the Abductor Virgin was to return back to the root pathway.

elden ring sealed tunnel roots blocking path

A Gold-Picked Fowl Foot can be looted from one of the root paths, in front of a Militiamen. Past the enemy, it looks as if there's nowhere to go due to roots blocking your path. From here, you can either jump up and over the roots from the right side, or you can drop down from a corner to the right.

elden ring sealed tunnel stone clusters

Either way, when you reach the other side you will be bombarded with exploding Stone Clusters. You'll want to quickly dodge roll until you can't anymore and there are no more Stone Clusters triggered. You can find Glintstone Scrap, Old Fang, and Smithing Stone (5) here, but you must be careful as multiple Stone Clusters are hiding throughout this area.

A couple of Grace Mimics can be found underneath the stairs here. To continue through the cave system and to reach the boss, go directly adjacent from the stairs. There's a Stone Cluster hiding behind the crates. Behind the Stone Cluster and crates is another illusionary wall that leads to more parkour.

elden ring sealed tunnel jumping off roots

All you have to do here is safely drop down from root to root. The very bottom will bring you to the boss's doors.

You may notice an item on a rock ledge when on the roots. You can easily jump from the highest point of the root to this ledge to pick up Lightning Grease. Also, at the very bottom, you'll see another item. Once you drop, multiple Stone Clusters will trigger around this item. This item is a Golden Rune.

How To Defeat Onyx Lord

This boss is similar to the Alabaster Lord in that it is a large and skinny humanoid with a great sword. The Onyx Lord casts a lot of gravity spells that can be devastating. It will be easy to melee him up close until he starts casting ridiculous meteorite spells. When he does this, you'll want to back up as much as you can before it's too late. The Onyx Lord can easily be staggered.

When the Onyx Lord is doing melee attacks and short-ranged casting, it will be easy for spellcasters to inflict damage and stagger from afar before once again holding off and dodging the long-ranged gravity spells he does.

Upon defeat, the boss drops the Onyx Lord's Greatsword.
