Elder Scrolls Online's region of Bangkorai is a particularly interesting and spectacular biome, found between Craglorn and Alik'r Desert. What appears to be a land of dense greenery smoothly transitions into one of golden sands and palm trees, stretching far into neighbouring Alik'r Desert.

Along the way, foes new and unheard of hound you every step of the way; the most formidable of these are the infamous World Bosses. From wraiths to fiery dremoras, there is never a dull moment in the magical lands of Tamriel.

6 Woodblight

Elder Scrolls Online Woodblight

Right outside the city walls of Bangkorai's capital of Evermore, you would have noticed the World Boss symbol. The Vestige traverses the marshy, slightly wooded swampland to find a Spriggan standing idly at the centre of the sandbank. Glowing a sickly green hue, the Spriggan known as Woodblight terrorises the area and cuts down any who invades her territory.

Using her sharp, talon-like hands, Woodblight defends herself by clawing at her opponents. As you see all Spriggans do before, they can unleash a multitude of bugs to overwhelm you. She also summons animals from the area to assist her, which is just plain annoying. But what's even worse, Woodblight has the ability to heal herself. In order to stop her from returning to full health, you can simply disturb her by slamming your weapon into her.

5 Caecilia Attius And Watcher Tyrant

Elder Scrolls Online Caecilia Attius and Watcher Tyrant

Clearly, Caecilia Attius has been dabbling in things she absolutely shouldn't. Found in Summoner's Camp, Caecilia has conjured a Watcher Tyrant from the far reaches of Oblivion to help her in her battle against The Vestige. This discount Hermaeus Mora lookalike floats about in the air with its writhing tentacles, blinking creepily through one large eye.

The Watcher performs laser beam attacks with its eye, before doing a machine gun attack with this beam. Caecilia is relatively easier to defeat compared to the Watcher she summoned. Having a party around is always recommended in Elder Scrolls Online for group bosses, as you can deal with one boss without having to watch your back too much.

4 Garach Wolf-Father

Elder Scrolls Online Garach Wolf-Father

At the base of a dilapidated tower known as Lakewatch Tower, lies the next World Boss in Bangkorai. Infested by a ghost called Garach Wolf-Father and two fellow wraiths, you will notice that Garach's helpers are the ghosts of two werewolves. A clearly malevolent spirit, Garach sets his dogs on you, before joining the fray.

It is recommended to deal with the werewolf ghosts first, as their cruel bites and wicked claw swipes would become a nuisance very quickly. Garach-Wolf Father's attacks are what you would expect from a ghost, from his icy attacks and dealing fear damage by unleashing a clone of himself at you. Fighting these ghosts at night is certainly eerie, so maybe a daylight battle is best.

3 Nomeg Hyril

Elder Scrolls Online Nomeg Hyril

As you near the line bisecting the forest from the desert, you notice something totally out of place. With a small tundra in the midst of the latter two, you would think you've fallen into Western Skyrim. Nilata Falls has completely frozen over and the cause of it is a gigantic frost atronach known as Nomeg Hyril.

With statues of frozen people decorating the arena, The Vestige surely would not like to end up as one of them. Nomeg uses its club-like fists to attempt to squash you into a pulp, as well as flinging ice spears and shards your way. It also performs an AoE attack, wherein a large circle will cause frostbite damage as icicles shoot out from the ground.

2 Qumehdi And Zaman

Elder Scrolls Online Zaman and Qumehdi

Deep in the desert bordering the region of Alik'r Desert, nestled in Telesubi Ruins are two Liches called Quhmedi and Zaman. Floating with an ominous blue glow, The Vestige must prepare to battle their combined arcane powers. Although they do have melee attacks, they are undead mages, and their AoE attacks are what you have to look out for.

Their most notable attack is the five blue crystals that spring up from the ground and passively drain your health without you realising it. It's easy enough to step out of the way but if you're far too focused on the bosses, you probably won't notice what's on the ground. The two liches also set a snare spell on the ground, which forcibly causes you to stop in your tracks, making you easy prey for their attacks.

1 Dayarrus

Elder Scrolls Online Dayarrus

A servant of the infamous Molag Bal, the Xivilai Dayarrus is found in Arlimahera Sanctum. This Dremora-type boss might seem like your run-of-the-mill melee combatant, but your hopes are soon dashed when she starts wielding arcane powers during the battle.

Aside from swinging about with her greatsword, the most devastating aspect of her move set is her ability to unleash a hellscape of flames in all directions. Successive exposure to the latter attack is a surefire way of dying quickly. Even worse, things turn much hotter when she summons Ogrim from Oblivion. These creatures also have the ability to fling fireballs at you, and they do surprising amounts of damage. It's very easy to get overwhelmed in this fight and forget who's doing what, so keep your eyes on the prize.
