There are many Daedric artifacts in Skyrim and the majority of them are weapons. Daedric weapons come in all different types, including swords, staves, maces, and any other kind of weapon a player can imagine. Daedric weapons are among the strongest in the game because they were created by the Daedric Princes of Tamriel.

Although there aren't too many Daedric weapons in Skyrim, there are definitely enough to give the Dragonborn a good selection regardless of what weapon of choice they wield. From staves to daggers, here are the ten strongest Daedric weapons in Skyrim!

10 Ebony Mail

The Ebony Mail is technically a piece of armor, however, when the player wears it while they are close to an enemy, it inflicts 5 damage per second. Because of this special effect, the Ebony Mail does enough damage to earn a spot on this list. It is acquired by completing Boethiah's Daedric quest, "Boethiah's Calling," and it is classified as a heavy piece of armor.

The Ebony Mail also muffles the wearer making this piece of armor perfect for a silent but deadly type build. Although this artifact may not be a traditional weapon, it definitely has its place in killing enemies in a unique and powerful way.

9 Lunar Daedric Sword

The Lunar enchantment is a powerful effect that can be enchanted onto melee weapons in Skyrim. If the player wields a weapon with the Lunar enchantment on it at night time then the player will inflict some fire damage onto their enemy.

Every Daedric melee weapon can be enchanted with the Lunar effect which means that it is possible to wield a Lunar Daedric sword. This isn't the strongest Daedric weapon in Skyrim but it deserves a spot on this list because any player who likes to adventure during the night will find great use from a powerful Daedric sword with the Lunar enchantment.

8 Mehrunes' Razor

Mehrunes' Razor is Mehrunes Dagon's Daedric artifact and it can be acquired in Skyrim by completing his Daedric quest, "Pieces of the Past." It is a dagger with a unique enchantment that gives the player an almost 2% chance to immediately kill their enemy upon contact with the blade.

One benefit of Mehrunes' Razor is that it does not require any soul gems to keep its effect active, meaning that it has unlimited hits and will not need any sort of recharge. This weapon can be quite powerful if the wielder is lucky, however, because of its extremely small chance to have the effect occur this dagger deserves one of the lower spots on this list.

7 Mace of Molag Bal

The Mace of Molag Bal is a black one-handed mace with an enchantment that inflicts its enemy with 25 stamina and magicka damage. The enemy will also fill a soul gem if they are killed within 3 seconds of this mace hitting them.

The Mace of Molag Bal is acquired by completing the "House of Horrors" quest in Markarth and it will originally be named the Rusty Mace in the player's inventory until Molag Bal eventually gives the mace back its full power. Any collector of rare maces will want to add this one to their collection.

6 Dawnbreaker

Dawnbreaker is a one-handed sword that can be acquired by completing Meridia's Daedric quest, "The Break of Dawn." This unique blade will inflict 10 extra fire damage to the player's enemies and may also cause an explosion that destroys nearby undead enemies. Dawnbreaker is a golden color and it has a glowing orb in the center of its hilt.

Dawnbreaker can be upgraded with ebony ingots, increasing how strong it can potentially become if given attention by the player wielding it. This golden looking sword is a blade to fear, especially for a vampire or zombie enemy.

5 Ebony Blade

The Ebony Blade can be acquired by completing the Deadric quest of Mephala, "The Whispering Blade." This quest can only be started once the player reaches level 20 and, once initiated, the majority of the quest takes place in Dragonsreach, the residence of the Jarl of Whiterun.

The Ebony Blade has a unique effect that causes it to increase in damage with every friend slain by this weapon. Assuming a player is willing to slaughter their friends, this sword can become an extremely powerful weapon. Any adventurer that hates their friends will get a lot of use out of this sword.

4 Wabbajack

The Wabbajack is a fan-favorite weapon in The Elder Scrolls universe because of the fun that can be had with its randomness. It can have many different effects on an enemy, which are picked at random. The effect could be anything from transforming the enemy into a measly animal to turning them into a shiny stack of gold!

The Wabbajack is Sheogorath's Daedric artifact and it can only be obtained by completing his Daedric quest, "The Mind of Madness." This is one staff that players will not want to miss their chance to obtain because of the enjoyment that can be had with its unique effects.

3 Sanguine Rose

The Sanguine Rose is a staff with a rose located at the top. Its effect to summon a Dremora to fight alongside the wielder for 60 seconds is extremely useful, especially for novices with the Conjuration school of magic.

The Sanguine Rose can be acquired by the player by completing the quest "A Night to Remember," which is the Daedric quest of Lord Sanguine. This weapon is one of the strongest staffs in all of Skyrim and has a powerful, unique enchantment that any player, magic-user or not, will want to get their hands on.

2 Volendrung

Volendrung is a two-handed warhammer and the Daedric artifact of Malacath. Originally forged by the Dwemer a long time before the events of Skyrim, it can be acquired by completing Malacath's Daedric quest, the "Cursed Tribe."

This warhammer steals a whopping 50 stamina from enemies, making the Volendrung one of the strongest melee weapons in the game. Players need to look no further for a warhammer once they acquire the powerhouse called Volendrung.

1 Skull Of Corruption

The Skull of Corruption is a staff given to the player by the Daedric Prince Vaermina after siding with the Daedric entity during the quest, "Walking Nightmare." This quest can be started in Dawnstar and will task the player with helping a man explore an old tower while trying to put a stop to the town's nightmare problem.

The Skull of Corruption deals 20 damage points to enemies but what makes it such a powerful weapon is its potential to damage enemies for 50 points when it is powered up with the dreams of sleeping people. This staff can be ridiculously strong when it is fully powered, making it more than deserving of the top spot on this list.
