Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights is a beautiful Metroidvania Soulslike filled with incredible art, music, and enemy design. Much like other games of the genre, such as Hollow Knight, Ender Lilies also has many great bosses, who you'll have to defeat with your newly learned abilities.

The boss encounters in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights are exhilarating and well-crafted, at least, for the most part, making you study their attack patterns and optimize your Relics and Spirits to best the challenge ahead. Every boss in Ender Lilies is a visual treat, but they can also be quite challenging and require your full attention. However, each boss fight is drastically different than one another, making some stand above the rest.

10 Hoenir, Keeper Of The Abyss

Hoenir, Keeper of the Abyss Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A cloaked knight throwing daggers accompanied with an executioner.

Hoenir is one of those rare examples where the fight itself has a lot going on but ultimately says nothing. The battle with Hoenir, Keeper of the Abyss, is overly long, tedious, and exceptionally easy. Hoenir is, thankfully, one of the few gimmick battles in the entire game and doesn't entirely execute on it in a way that's fun or surprising.

Hoenir's main gimmick is he will summon many minions that can only be damaged and killed if he is near them. Furthermore, Hoenir doesn't evolve much in the encounter and is overly simplistic and easy once you dispatch his small group of Executioners. Overall, this is by and large the worst fight in the game, but the good news is that all the others are pretty dang good!

9 Guardian Siegrid

The Guardian Siegrid Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. Siegrid evolved into a giant monster with claws and charged Lilie with a powerful swing.

The first boss encounter in Ender Lilies is with the Guardian Siegrid, and it sets the tone nicely for what to expect moving forward. While Siegrid isn't a bad boss by any means, her tutorial-like nature is what drags her down the most. She has basic attack patterns, and even with almost no abilities at your disposal, the fight is a walk in the park.

However, with everything above being said, Guardian Siegrid is still an incredible boss fight and has an exhilarating twist mid-fight where she evolves into a towering monster. This boss encounter is reminiscent of Bloodborne's Vicar Amelia fight, which is more than welcomed.

8 Dark Witch Eleine

The Dark Witch Eleine Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A witch in a purple outfit, floating with her staff in hand.

While slightly better than the Guardian Siegrid fight, Dark Witch Eleine brings a clever moveset to her encounter that evolves in three different stages. Dark Witch Eleine can be a challenging fight, but she is the kind of challenge that is much more fun than frustrating.

Eleine's attacks are swift and precise, resembling a bullet hell game at moments, requiring your full attention. This boss fight is blood pumping and the first real challenge of Ender Lilies, acting as a skill check of sorts to see if you are up to speed for everything else the game has to offer.

7 Gerrod, The Elder Warrior

Gerrod, the Elder Warrior Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A giant Viking with an enormous hammer, roaring.

At first, Gerrod can seem like the most basic boss fight in all of Ender Lilies, but as the battle drags on, you will quickly find that to be quite untrue. Gerrod, the Elder Warrior, is an enormous Viking that wields an even more giant hammer, looking to flatten anyone in his way.

Gerrod is slow and easy to read in his first phase, but the following two phases are nothing to laugh at, as this hulking Viking will start doing flips and moving with unrivaled speed. Dodging Gerrod's charges, shockwaves, and mighty hammer swings all add to an incredible fight that will surely leave you on the edge of your seat.

6 Guardian Silva

The Guardian Silva Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A maiden swinging a hammer and hurtling magic at Lilie in the process.

Being the sister of Guardian Siegrid, you would expect a good battle out of Guardian Silva as she is much later in the game and is out for blood. Luckily, Silva offers just that and is one of the most challenging fights in the game — at least, in your first few attempts.

Unfortunately, however, what drags Guardian Silva down a tad is that her moves tend to get a bit too repetitive and predictable, making the encounter seem tedious in specific phases. Making matters worse is that Silva has many attacks at her disposal but rarely mixes them up to create an experience that will always keep you guessing what comes next. Instead, she becomes predictable and easy to read, but she still offers just enough to keep her above the others.

5 Blighted Lord

The Blighted Lord Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A lesser Lord, but still a large demon, with horns, wings, and its heart showing.

The Blighted Lord is more or less the final boss — at least, when it comes to the second ending of the game. The fact of the matter is that this battle is against the unfinished version of the True Blight Lord and, as a result, is relatively easy and underwhelming as the game's "final" boss.

The Blighted Lord is stationary throughout the entire encounter and has you get in close to its heart to do any damage, and it will claw and slash at you when you do so. Overall, this fight is a bit tedious but is still enjoyable in specific moments. Thankfully, a much more robust version of the Blighted Lord changes most of the gripes with this version.

4 True Blight Lord

The True Blight Lord Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A gigantic demon with sprouted wings, horns, and its heart in its hands.

While much better than its lesser form, the True Blight Lord boss fight is still a tad underwhelming, even with the extra bells and whistles. However, this is a much more challenging encounter than the previous one and offers the game's actual ending.

The True Blight Lord version still has the same main combat loop but has more abilities such as meteor strikes, spears, and a squash attack, making it significantly harder to get close to its heart to do any damage. Unfortunately, even in its evolved state, the True Blight Lord is still stationary and relatively easy once you get its attack patterns down, which won't take much time.

3 Knight Captain Julius

The Knight Captain Julius Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A Large Knight with a tattered cape, charging into battle with his spear.

When it comes to difficulty in a fight, Knight Captain Julius covers that with no issues, as this is one of the most brutal fights in the entire game. However, what Julius also offers is an enjoyable and engaging challenge that will test you without necessarily frustrating you to the point of quitting.

Knight Captain Julius has many attacks at his disposal and can close the gap between the two of you in an instant, making for frantic gameplay. Locked away in a dilapidated castle that succumbed to the Blight, Julius awaits his next victim, armed with an enormous spear. As the fight rages on, however, Julius will begin shooting beams of energy from his spear, which will demolish you in an instant. This boss encounter will keep you on your toes from start to finish, making it easily one of the best in the game.

2 Ulv, The Mad King

Ulv, the Mad King Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A knight with spiked armor and claws.

Unlike Silva, Ulv has very few attacks at his disposal but makes great use each one, offering a frantically challenging experience that is enjoyable from beginning to end. Ulv, the Mad King, is easily one of the most challenging bosses in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights, but not in a cheap or gimmicky way.

Ulv is an incredibly fast boss that deals tons of damage with each swing of his whetted claws, making for some of the most exhilarating combat loops in the entire game. Everything about this fight is off the charts, from the beautiful red flower field arena to the music and the actual battle itself, all of which blend together to make a truly unforgettable experience.

1 Miriel, The Beloved

Miriel, The Beloved Boss Fight in Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. A giant monster that resembles a dinosaur and dragon.

While Miriel is a relatively easy fight in the grand scheme of things, especially when compared to some others on this list, she still offers one of the single best battles in all of Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. Miriel, the Beloved, is an enormous monster resembling a dragon, and she has many different moves that will keep you on your toes consistently.

What makes Miriel such an incredible encounter is that her attacks are chaotic, easily readable, and have an obvious answer. While this may sound too simplistic and easy, that couldn't be further from the case as she still does offer quite a challenge, especially in your first few attempts. Miriel is reminiscent of a classic Metroid boss, launches copious amounts of projectiles at you, and constantly changes your positioning. The Beloved offers a great fight from start to finish, and while it isn't nearly as hard as the others, it is better in many ways and stands tall above all others.
