Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee launched with only 152 Pokémon that players are able to catch, and although this number is small, there are still a bunch of creatures that fans can get their hands on to use inside of Pokémon battles. Some of these Pokémon evolve in different ways, such as leveling up or using evolutionary stones; however, there are also a few creatures that can only evolve by trading with other players.

There are a total of five Pokémon in Let's Go that will evolve by trading, and fans can read on to learn how to obtain them and the easiest way to catch their pre-evolutions. The Pokémon that evolve by trade are usually some of the most powerful in the game, and that is true, especially with this bunch of pocket monsters.

5 Graveler - Golem

Graveler is a powerful Pokémon; however, a lot of Let's Go players may be interested in leveling it up and evolving it so it can take on even harder enemies through online battles and the elite four. The easiest way to initially obtain a Graveler is to catch the Pokémon as a Geodude within Mt. Moon, and fans can do this very early on in their game. Geodude evolves into Graveler at level 25.

Players need to trade Graveler with another player if they wish to evolve it into Golem, and this shouldn't be too much of an issue for players that have friends to play with. Golem is a very powerful Rock/Ground-type Pokémon with a high-speed stat and moves such as Rock Tomb and Earthquake, which is why it is worth obtaining, especially for the Pokédex.

4 Haunter - Gengar

Gengar is the only Ghost-type evolutionary line in the Kanto region, and as such, fans want to catch one for themselves so that they can have their own ghost inside of their Pokémon party. Unfortunately, Gengar is more difficult to obtain than the regular Pokémon in the game because it requires that players have traded a Haunter to evolve. Luckily Gengar's pre-evolutions are extremely easy to come by, and fans can catch them early on in their Pokémon Journey. Gastly evolves into Haunter at level 25.

Gastly and Haunter can both be caught in Lavender Town within the Pokémon Tower, and fans will find many of them there to battle and capture. Gengar can learn Ghost-type moves such as Curse and Lick, which is why it is worth training for any player that wants a unique and rare Pokémon on their team.

3 Kadabra - Alakazam

Alakazam is one of the first Psychic-types to be introduced into the Pokémon franchise, and it's no surprise that it still has relevance in modern-day Pokémon battling because it is a very powerful creature and can learn a host of different attacks. Alakazam has a high special attack stat and can deal a lot of damage with its different Psychic-type moves such as Confusion. Abra evolves into Kadabra at level 16.

Alakazam evolves from Kadabra when it is traded, and as such, fans will need to find a friend that is willing to partake in this trade if they want to obtain one for themselves. Abra can be caught near Vermilion City on route 6. With this in mind, every player that wants to complete the Pokédex or obtain a very powerful Psychic-type Pokémon should head to this location to catch an Abra all for themselves.

2 Machoke - Machamp

Machamp is a signature Fighting-type Pokémon in the franchise, and fans know and love it because of its four arms and aggressive appearance. Unfortunately, Machamp will be much more difficult to catch than the likes of other Fighting-type Pokémon in Let's Go because it requires players to trade with another player online to evolve. Machamp can learn powerful attacks such as Seismic Toss, and its attack stat is incredibly high, so players shouldn't hesitate to try to obtain one of these Pokémon.

Machop can be obtained from Victory Road. Machop will then evolve into Machoke at level 28, and fans will then get their chance to trade their newly evolved Pokémon for an even higher evolution. It's definitely worth obtaining one of these creatures for any fan of Fighting-type Pokémon because it will benefit them greatly in battle, especially if a player can catch one early in the game.

1 Alolan Graveler - Alolan Golem

As previously mentioned, Golem is a powerful Pokémon, and its Alolan version is even stronger. Alolan Golem is a Rock/Electric-Type Pokémon, and its unique typing makes it one of the strongest creatures in Let's Go. Alolan Golem is a Rock/Electric-type Pokémon, and its unique typing makes it one of the strongest creatures in the Alolan region. Unfortunately, fans can't catch this Pokémon by themselves because it will require an in-game trade to be able to obtain one.

Players will need to obtain a regular Geodude from Mt. Moon or elsewhere and then trade it for an Alolan Geodude inside of the Vermilion City Pokémon Center. This isn't too difficult of a task for trainers, and most players should be able to complete it as long as they can catch a Geodude within the caves of Let's Go. Alolan Golem can be obtained by trading Alolan Graveler with another player, and then players will have their very own Electric/Rock-type to defeat all of the powerful gyms in the Kanto region!
