Ash vs. Evil Dead content has officially been confirmed to be coming to Evil Dead: The Game, with the first revealed piece of DLC being a costume for Pablo that has him wearing the Necronomicon on his face.Since its launch earlier this year, Evil Dead: The Game has been updated with various pieces of DLC, introducing new demon enemies like the Plaguebringer from Army of Darkness, new survivors like David and Mia from the rebooted Evil Dead, and some new costumes, maps, and weapons.It's been some time since we've heard anything about more DLC being added to the game but, just in time for the holidays, the Evil Dead: The Game Twitter account has confirmed that more is on the way, and it's listening to one of the biggest fan requests by bringing in content from Ash vs. Evil Dead.
The Evil Dead: The Game Twitter account shared two images of Pablo wearing the Necronomicon on his face, which happens towards the end of the first season of Ash vs. Evil Dead. The caption alongside the two images reads, "The Book of the Dead never lets anyone off easy. Ash vs Evil Dead DLC arrives early next year! What are you most hoping to see?"
It's not made clear from the post if the DLC is going to add more than just costumes from Ash vs. Evil Dead, but considering characters like Chet and Ruby have previously been teased, it seems like a no-brainer to add some new survivors and possibly even a new map, especially considering Army of Darkness has been the main focus of the DLC packs so far.
It's nice to have confirmation that Ash vs. Evil Dead content is coming to Evil Dead: The Game, but it's probably not going to come as a surprise for anyone that's kept an eye on leaks for the game since its launch. Datamines have found references to long-awaited characters like Ruby and her hellspawn, as well as alternate costumes for characters like Amanda Fisher, which pretty much confirmed Ash vs. Evil Dead content long ago.
