Fall Guys effectively relaunched earlier this year as it went free-to-play and arrived on new platforms. That means despite recently celebrating its second anniversary, its second season is about to begin. Today it revealed what the theme for season two will be, including a bunch of new levels and some of the crossovers that will be a part of it.

Season two's theme will be space. Something people who play Fall Guys on a regular basis will have probably already figured out following the recent satellite scramble event. The trailer confirming season two's space theme shows one of the game's beans out in the real world falling asleep on a park bench and being floated up into the sky.

What the trailer doesn't reveal is some of the announced crossovers for season two. That was saved for the accompanying blog post. The ones announced so far are in keeping with the theme. Spock from Star Trek, and Xenomorph from the Alien movies. Not something you might expect to see in Fall Guys, but hey, Predator was added to Fortnite and that seemed to go down pretty well.

A new season brings new levels, some of which you might have spotted in the trailer above. All eight have been detailed in the aforementioned post. Starchart will task you with navigating invisible paths, Hyperdrive Heroes brings back an old round with an intergalactic twist, and Tiptoe Finale is a new-look version of Tiptoe with a crown to grab at the end.

Not everything coming to Fall Guys during season two will have been confirmed. Epic will have plenty of other surprises up its sleeve, some of which probably won't have anything to do with space. Look out for returning collaborations too. Sonic came back to the game this season, bringing more skins with him. As for season two, Fall Guys will be fired off into space on September 15 and start with another satellite-building event.
