Mediatonic announced Fall Guys is coming to Nintendo Switch this summer. The news was revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, although specific details were not made available.

Fall Guys was incredibly popular towards the last half of 2020, although the craze seems to have died down in subsequent months. Hopefully, the Switch release will breathe new life into the incredibly fun battle royale.

Fall Guys is currently in the middle of its third season, with its 3.5 Update going live at the beginning of February. This brought with it a new level, more than 40 tweaks to current maps, and plenty of new crossovers and unlockable costumes.

While Fall Guys is no doubt an incredible game, its popularity seems to have faded in 2021. Although Mediatonic has done a great job of pumping new content into the game on a regular basis, fans seem to be leaving the game for more exciting titles such as Hitman 3 and Valheim – both of which continue to put up impressive numbers.

Still, Fall Guys isn't without its dedicated fans. No details about crossplay or cross-progression were revealed during the Nintendo Direct, but it would be a wise decision to combine the Switch population with those on PS4 and PC.

Fall Guys will launch on Nintendo Switch this summer – expect to hear more details in the coming months.
