There are 20 different types of rounds players of Fall Guys might be faced with. Some have numerous types, like the Race category. Others, not so much. In fact, the Hunt and Logic categories only feature one round each. At least for now before the game's developers add more.

Here are some handy hints and tips for tackling Fall Guys' solitary Hunt and Logic rounds should players be faced with them.

Updated December 1, 2022: Another Hoop-themed Hunt Round has been added to Fall Guys with its third season since they went free-to-play. Although hoops are a popular mechanic among Hunt Rounds currently in the game, the new Hoop Chute round freshens things up and puts a unique spin on it.

Strategies For Every Hunt Round

Hoop Chute "How To Play" screen from Fall Guys, with instructions on how to play the game

Hoop Chute

Like other Hunt Rounds involving Hoops, players are tasked with jumping through different Hoops to earn points, with the objective of reaching a set number of points to qualify. For this version, these Hoops are placed throughout a water-filled course, requiring players to slide down while jumping through them to earn points.

Similar to Speed Slider, there will be multiple routes available, giving you options on the path that you want to take. Like other similar Hunt Rounds, some hoops will be gold in this level, granting three times the points compared to other hoops.

At the start of the Round, opt for the bottom route, as this path will be quick and contain several rings. This will also allow you to quickly reach the next area, containing more potential points for you to earn.

When you have reached the second, more open area of this course, do your best to exit it using the path either to the left or the right. This route will contain multiple golden hoops, allowing you to quickly rack up points.

Frantic Factory

This addition to the catalog of Hunt Rounds in Fall Guys functions similarly to Button Bashers, just on a larger scale. Placed in a large arena filled with conveyor belts and several buttons, you or your team, when playing in the Squads Show playlist, are tasked with pressing the buttons that light up yellow.

Each time you successfully press one of these buttons, a point will be added to your score, working toward an overall total to qualify. Once a button is pressed, it will no longer be lit up, forcing you to seek out a different one to continue acquiring points.

With the large size of this arena, it is recommended that you try to stay in one general area when playing this game. This will reduce the time spent running from button to button and guarantee that you are prepared when a button lights up in your chosen area.

It also helps if this area is on the upper level of this map, allowing you to quickly drop if you spot a yellow button below you.

Volleyfall

This Hunt Round functions exactly as you'd expect; a Fall Guys volleyball match. You will be placed on one side of the volleyball net, either on your own or with other teammates, with one or two large volleyballs in play at a time.

Your objective is to keep these balls from touching the ground on your side of the net, awarding the opponent a point if this occurs.

Prioritize defense and make sure you are ready for any volleyballs falling on your side of the net, indicated by a small white circle where it will land.

Bounce Party

Similar to other levels involving hoops, Bounce Party tasks you with jumping through hoops to earn points.

For this Hunt Round, you will be placed on a platform with bounce pads covering the floor, causing you to constantly bounce in the air. Rings will move toward you from one direction, located at varying heights, requiring you to use the bounce pads to reach them.

Some of these hoops will be gold instead of white; focus on these as they will provide you with three points each instead of one.

Leading Light

For this Hunt Round, you will have to follow and stand underneath a moving spotlight, accumulating progress for each second until you have reached 100 percent.

There will be several obstacles present throughout this arena, so make sure that you are avoiding these, as getting knocked back can cost you several seconds away from the spotlight.

If possible, try to get under the spotlight early, providing you with an early lead, as it will get crowded shortly after the round starts.

Airtime

This Hunt Round tasks players with staying within a zone for a set amount of time to qualify for this round.

This zone is located on the upper half of this arena, requiring you to traverse through several obstacles to keep gaining progress.

With the many obstacles present, it is expected that you will fall out of the zone; when this happens, quickly go into one of the pipes located at the bottom of the arena, respawning you at the start of this arena.

Pegwin Pool Party

In this Hunt Round, you will have to catch and hold onto one of the several robotic penguins.

Each second you have one in your possession, you will earn a point toward your total, requiring you to accumulate a set number of points to qualify.

Once you have a Pegwin in your possession, try to find an isolated area of the arena to hide in; the large size makes it easy to go undetected, allowing you to rack up tons of points.

Bubble Trouble

This Hunt Round requires you to collect bubbles located throughout an arena, working toward a set amount to qualify.

There will be four sections of this area, each with different obstacles.

Bubbles will spawn at two locations at a given time, so take note of this. Each section has one golden bubble; prioritize these as they will give you five points each instead of one.

Button Bashers

This Round pairs you up with one other player, competing against each other for the spot in the following round. There will be nine buttons located in different locations throughout the arena.

One of these buttons will be yellow at a given time, granting you a point if you jump on and press it. Once done, a different button will turn yellow, requiring you to quickly relocate to secure the point.

If you see your opponent about to get the point, focus on positioning yourself in a good location to secure the next point, as wasting time going toward them will be no use.

Hoopsie Legends

This Round tasks you with jumping through hoops that spawn throughout the arena, working toward a set amount to qualify.

Several platforms will be scattered throughout this area, movable when grabbed and pushed to reach higher areas.

There will be gold hoops that spawn throughout this Round, each providing you with five points as opposed to one.

Position yourself on the raised area in the center of this arena, as this will be a common spot where both standard and gold rings spawn.

Tail Tag

This Hunt Round requires players to rip a tail off an opponent's behind.

There will only be a limited number of tails, so make sure to be careful during the times that you do have one. At the end of the game, whichever players have tails in their possession progress to the next round.

By all means, grab a tail should you happen upon one early on, but remember, that means defending that tail for the remaining time.

Sometimes it's best to grab a tail as late as possible, leaving less time to worry about watching your back or butt.

Strategies For Every Logic Round

Fall Guys level selection screen with Sum Fruit selected

Sum Fruit

Sum Fruit serves as another memory game that has been introduced to the world of Fall Guys. Players will be placed in a large arena with two platforms towards its center.

Different fruit will begin falling and landing in the area, requiring you to keep track of how many of each fruit appear. Once the timer runs out, the slime will begin to rise from the floor, and six tiles will appear in the air, only able to be reached from the two center platforms.

Make sure you get to these tiles as soon as possible, as this will be the only safe location for the time being.

Pictures of the different fruit will appear on these tiles, and large screens will display a number, tasking you with standing on the fruit that appeared the number of times written on the screen to survive.

This process will occur two more times, increasing in difficulty each round.

Perfect Match

In this round, players will be spread out across a grid consisting of 16 tiles. Pictures of fruit will flash on the tiles, and it's up to the players to remember which fruits are where.

When the timer runs out, a picture of one of the fruits will appear on the screens surrounding the arena. Players will then have a few seconds to stand on a tile that showed the corresponding fruit.

It might be tempting to try and watch the whole grid right away. There's no need for that. The first round will only feature two types of fruit, so just make sure you know where one of each is.

As the rounds get harder, if you start to struggle, follow the crowd. Just beware of slipping off of a crowded tile.
