Some require players to work alone, others as a team, sometimes in a foot race, or in some sort of scenario where logic needs to be applied. In three cases, survival is the name of the game. Here's what players need to know about Fall Guys' three Survival rounds, and how best to survive them.

Updated November 27, 2022: The third season since Fall Guys transitioned to a free-to-play title just launched, named Season Three: Sunken Secrets. With this comes a handful of new Rounds, including a brand-new Survival Round, Blastlantis. Below, we have added a run-down of this new level, including different strategies to help you master this new Round.

Strategies For All Survival Rounds In Fall Guys

The Blastlantis "How To Play" screen from Fall Guys, showing instructions on how to play it

Blastlantis

Blastlantis takes the Blast Ball mechanic from the previously introduced level Blast Ball, and uses it to create a new and exciting Survival Round. This level takes place on a relatively large map, possessing several platforms, obstacles, and Blast Ball spawners.

The objective here is to throw Blast Balls at your opponents, exploding and knocking off others when timed correctly. Outlast a set number of players in the Round, and you will qualify for the next Round of the Show.

The first tip is to stay in an area that has little-to-no Blast Ball spawners close by. This will reduce the player traffic around you, leading to fewer attempts by other players to get you eliminated from this Round.

Additionally, make sure that you are staying in areas that are high in elevation if possible. The longer this Round goes on, the higher the water below will rise, similar to mechanics in Slime Climb and The Slimescrape, so this will help you avoid this additional hazard.

Hyperdrive Heroes

This Survival round follows the same premise as Hoverboard Heroes, with added challenges and several new obstacles. You will have to traverse these obstacles while staying on a large, moving hoverboard, requiring you to do so quickly if you wish to stay up.

Additionally, portions of this course will require you to leave this hoverboard, tasking you to do so with haste to make it back onto the moving platform. Reach the finish line without falling off this course to qualify for the following round successfully.

When on the hoverboard, take your time and carefully move through the various obstacles, as one misstep can lead to falling off this platform. That being said, try to stay at the front of the pack if possible.

With reappearing tiles toward the end of this level, it's important that you get to them first. Otherwise, you will have to wait for their reappearance, a risk to your survival and overall standing for this round.

The Swiveller

This Survival Round places you on a ring-shaped platform; the floor is lined with a speedy conveyor belt moving players forward. Players will have to go around this ring, avoiding this level's obstacles. A fan will be chasing the crowd throughout this round, requiring you to keep moving forward to avoid being blown off and eliminated.

Although speed is clearly crucial in this round, make sure that you are carefully avoiding the various obstacles, as a bad collision may be enough for the fan to catch up to you.

Carefully and quickly move around this platform, outliving other opponents.

Stompin' Ground

This survival round places players on a circular platform, tasking them with avoiding three robotic rhinos, a more recent addition to the Blunderdome.

These rhinos will quickly and randomly pick a direction, then charge that way, knocking back anyone who gets in the way.

Do your best to keep an eye on all three rhinos to avoid this, as most hits will lead to you being knocked off this platform, eliminating you from this round.

Additionally, there will be lilypads along the perimeter of the platform, bouncing players back onto the platform if hit before falling into the slime.

Use these to save yourself from being eliminated if possible.

Big Shots

In this round, players will be placed on a single rectangular platform, slightly teetering back and forth, similar to the platforms in the level See-Saw.

You will be tasked with dodging various objects that are shot at this platform from three different cannons to survive this round, requiring you to outlast a set amount of players to qualify.

Position yourself between two cannons, allowing you to avoid the majority of objects sent your way.

Dodge the few objects that come toward you, easily qualifying for this Survival Round.

Hoverboard Heroes

Working similarly to Slime Climb and The Slimescraper, players will have to traverse through a course filled with several obstacles, requiring them to reach the finish line without being knocked into the slime below this level.

In this round, players will be placed on a large hoverboard, constantly moving toward the finish line.

Make sure to stay on the platform while avoiding obstacles encountered, preventing you from being knocked off and eliminated from this Survival Round.

The hoverboard will move slowly, so the obstacles are the primary danger in Hoverboard Heroes; prioritize dodging these when possible.

Snowball Survival

In this round, players will be placed in an arena with the floor made up of several hexagon-shaped tiles, some made of ice, eventually breaking when stepped on three times.

Two giant snowballs will roll around this arena, knocking back anyone in its path.

Keep your eye on both snowballs, moving out of their way if possible.

Try to find and stay in an area made up of solid tiles when possible, reducing your chances of falling down and getting eliminated from this Survival Round.

Block Party

In Block Party, all remaining players will be gathered on the same platform. When the round begins, blocks of different shapes and sizes will emerge from beneath. All players need to do is stand in the gaps to avoid being pushed off the edge.

Try to stand as close to where the blocks are emerging from to get the first look, but beware, a rival might sneak up behind you and shove you off the edge.

Roll Out

Roll Out is a very similar concept to Block Party. However, instead of a flat platform, players are stood on a giant roller.

Different segments of the roller rotate in different directions. Some will have blocks on them, and others will have gaps through which players can fall to their elimination.

Our only tip here is to never stop moving. The moment a player isn't alert in this one is the moment they get caught behind a block and roll off the roller.

Jump Club

The jump club round is a very simple concept. All players stand on a circular platform and must avoid being knocked off. Two bars will rotate around the platform: a green bar you jump over and a pink bar you duck under.

Jump over the green bar circling faster and faster, but try to avoid it syncing up with the higher pink bar at all costs. There will be no escape if they sync up as they reach you.
