Revealed earlier this month during Realms Deep 2020, Fallen Aces is a noir-styled FPS brawler from the mad lads at New Blood Interactive. Blending mechanics of many popular games such as Condemned, System Shock, and Deus Ex, our previous look was only a brief few minutes that didn't exactly tell us much about the plot.

This new extended trailer is mostly the same as before, but with nearly a minute of extra footage that shines a black-and-white colored light on the world players will be traversing. There's some kind of masked vigilante hero that you're likely emulating by taking to the streets to rough up criminals. I imagine that the cel-shaded aesthetic was inspired by old detective comics, which is precisely what Fallen Aces looks like.

In a press release put out by New Blood (the first in their history!), Fallen Aces is listed as "Coming Soon." It will be releasing PC before getting a port to consoles. That likely means the Nintendo Switch, as New Blood's other titles haven't gotten ports to other platforms. DUSK will be the first to make its console debut later this month.

If you like what you see, you can wishlist the game on Steam to get notified when it's ready. A demo is planned to be released within the next month, so you won't want to miss that. Considering every game by New Blood is an instant classic, I imagine Fallen Aces will also follow the trend of resurrecting previously dead franchises under a new light.
