The latest video game set in a galaxy far far away, Jedi: Fallen Order has finally made its way to Star Wars fans. While the game has some performance issues, they didn't stop it from receiving praise from both critics and users indicating Fallen Order is the best Star Wars video game we have gotten in a while.

The Star Wars IP is having a great end to 2019. The Mandalorian has been met with basically universal acclaim, The Rise of Skywalker is set to conclude a nine-movie story arc of one of the most popular families in movie history and Fallen Order has one of the best story endings in the entire franchise.

Darth Vader. Arguably the most iconic character in movie history, Vader has been the focal point of the Star Wars franchise. Despite that, fans have mainly seen Darth Vader in two stages of his power - the beginning when he ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and the end where he seemed to be past his prime. Finally, fans have been getting glimpses of Darth Vader at his most powerful with the ending of Rogue One and now his appearance in Jedi: Fallen Order.

When Darth Vader's iconic breathing sounds in the background of Fallen Order, gamers know something crazy is about to go down. He immediately slays Trilla with one swift lightsaber stroke before turning to Cal and Cere. Darth Vader's appearance highlights his overwhelming skill with the force and the terrifying aspects of the character. Cal desperately tries to escape with Vader seemingly right around the corner after his every move. The scene shows the power of Vader as well as the psychological terror he is capable of.

Fallen Order and Rogue One are similar in the way they depict Darth Vader. In both instances, Vader is seen as an unstoppable force that strikes fear into everyone he encounters. They both explore his strength with the force and with a lightsaber to epic results, marking the two stories as some of the best endings in the entire Star Wars canon. If Rogue One and Fallen Order are any indication, Disney would do right to make either a film or series focusing on Vader's prime between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, showing everyone why he is the best villain of all time.
