As Bethesda continues its mission to make Fallout 76 a better game and update it with more content, the company aims at fixing some of the bugs and glitches that are present within the game. But a game wouldn't be an authentic Bethesda game if an update didn't introduce a new series of bugs and inconveniences for players to deal with. Such is the unfortunate case with Fallout 76's latest update.

Recently, Bethesda released Update 16, which addresses various bugs and introduces new gameplay elements. However, a whole new bug was brought along with the update that negatively impacts a player's Legendary armor.

According to multiple user reports, the bug deals with reloading a weapon and losing Legendary armor stats. To be more specific, after installing the latest update, if a player reloads their weapon while wearing Legendary armor, the armor's stats will decrease. One player managed to upload a video on YouTube to demonstrate the bug and bring attention to it.

Sadly, armor isn't the only thing to be affected by the bug. A player has made a post on the Fallout 76 subreddit page in which they state how their weapon's durability has significantly decreased. Going into more detail, weapons that normally have very long durability are breaking twice as fast. Some of the players have also reported that their harpoon guns are breaking really fast after firing only 15 shots.

To make matters worse and more inconvenient, a holiday event is currently underway in Fallout 76, and with players' weapons and armor breaking left and right, it will be hard for some to enjoy the event . The good news, however, is that Bethesda is aware of the situation. A Bethesda representative has acknowledged the bug and stated that more information will be shared once Bethesda learns more about it.

Hopefully, a patch will be released quickly enough to remedy the situation and some sort of compensation will be provided to those affected. Otherwise, a lot of players won't be able to play the game properly, while others will completely miss out because they don't want to update their games.
