Updated December 9, 2021 by Michael Caruso: The Holiday Scorched is a powerful enemy, but finding it is often more difficult than defeating it. Only certain locations have a chance to spawn the Holiday Scorched, and there's an even smaller pool of locations that are convenient to travel to at any time. There are a few more things you should know about the Holiday Scorched, including the exact locations you can find it on the in-game map and how to defeat it.

How To Find The Holiday Scorched

Before you seek out the Holiday Scorched, you should make sure to bring powerful gear because these are high-level monsters, and on top of being legendary, they may boast up to three stars next to their health bar, meaning these are some truly tough opponents.

If you want to get through them, what you'll need is to equip your best gear and go out into the wilderness. You'll find Legendary Holiday Scorched all over the map, in many different locations, but encountering them is a matter of luck. But you'll know if you're close since you can hear the jingling of bells.

This means you can run around the perimeter of locations fairly quickly to find if enemies are nearby; just put some headphones on and boost the volume. The Holiday Scorched could be in one of many locations; some locations will even have multiple, and being capable of acutely hearing the sound effects in-game will massively speed up your search.

How To Defeat The Holiday Scorched

fallout_76_holiday_scorched_dead_with_inventory_open

Holiday Scorched are difficult to defeat as they often have multiple stars, and they're high-level enemies. The best way to defeat Holiday Scorched is to bring a lot of teammates. The more Wastelanders fighting the Scorched, the easier it goes down. Additionally, high damage weapons such as explosives are essential if you're a low-level since these enemies have so much health.

Depending on which location you travel to, you may want to bring Rad-X and Rad-Away since it'll be frustrating if you travel all the way to the Holiday Scorched only to lose half your health bar to radiation damage.

List Of Locations Where You Can Find Holiday Scorched In Fallout 76

You can find Holiday Scorched in a vast variety of locations in Fallout 76, and some of the locations listed below can have up to four Holiday Scorched. However, there's no guarantee you'll see any at all. Sometimes they don't spawn; sometimes, they spawn in vaguely different locations in the same area, and so on. As a result, you'll have to perk your ears up to listen out for the jingling of bells so you know when a possible reward is nearby. Thanks to NakedVaultDweller for these locations.
