The North American server of Fate/Grand Order, the mobile game installment of the Fate series by Delight Works, recently achieved its third anniversary. Lucky players were able to summon the limited five star SSR caster class servant Skadi, whose abilities make people describe her as a game-changer when it comes to playing.

One of the most appealing qualities of the Mother of Scandinavia is her ability to do what is called noble phantasm looping. You might have heard other players talk about this, and that's totally fine considering the game's lack of guidance at times. Even if you were not able to summon Skadi (which you shouldn't be discouraged about considering she's in everyone's supports now) this technique can be used with a few other servants, which we'll definitely go into detail with.

First off, what exactly is looping? Basically, you bombard one servant with a certain amount of buffs so that when they actually use their Noble Phantasm, their gauge fills right back up or enough so that another servant on your team can use their skill to get it up to 100. This allows for quick farming and hard hits in those boss fights with multiple HP bars, the latter of which you'll have to get used to once you get past most of the early singularities, the Epic of Remnant pseudo-singularities, and of course the Lostbelts. Buckle up for a tough ride, Masters.

Typically servants who can loop will be Arts-based users who have supportive skills, a few examples being Hokusai, Sieg, Parvati, Bride Nero, Paracelsus. This is just a few commonly known ones, but there are definitely more out there with the ability - its just a matter of trying and seeing. The only thing that matters is that their skills lean towards being support and that you pair them in a team with additional arts-based servants who can buff them.

We'll use Sieg as an example because Sieg was a free event servant from completing the Apocrypha event that ran back in April, so there's a chance most players have him. His skills increase his noble phantasm generation rate, his arts performance, and charge his actual noble phantasm gauge. These are the kinds of skills you want to look for when trying to loop. Bride Umu is a very popular choice to pair with him because she also has a skill that increases a servant's noble phantasm generation, as well as attack and critical stars. All of it is honestly just a matter of stacking up the right supports. Feel free to test this out with any Arts-based servants you might have.

Hopefully, this clear-up will assist you in your quests for three turn farming and smoother battles as a whole. Have fun playing, Masters!
