FaZe Clan's H1ghSky1 has fessed up to lying about his age following a ban from Twitch for being under 13.

Patric, whose age came into question as the result of a lawsuit filed against FaZe by streamer Turner "Tfue" Tenney, admitted to being 12 years old in a YouTube stream alongside his mother this week, having seen his Twitch account suspended.

“My Twitch account was suspended due to me being underage,” he said. “And yes, I am 12. I only lied so that I could fulfill my dream of being a streamer. It’s been my dream for a long time, and I worked for a year and a half for it... I’m sorry. I had to lie. I was too young, and it held me back. I just couldn’t wait two more years.”

“Holy cow,” he would add. “I finally got it off my chest.”

Tenney accused FaZe of signing Patrick when he was just 11 and it's now clear that his allegations are solid. Twitch and Epic prohibit anyone under the age of 13 from streaming or playing in official Fortnite competitions, so all parties involved in this deal are in the wrong. FaZe has also been accused of forcing the young streamer and his family to lie about his age.

Twitch suspended H1ghSky1's account on Wednesday and he has since moved over to YouTube, where he can continue to stream solo but not using an account of his own.

The H1ghSky1 account has fine print stating that “uploads and videos are created by the management team and Patric’s Guardians.”

Things don't appear to be slowing down, though, H1ghSky1 has nearly pulled 900,000 subscribers in, although a lot of them were gained before his confession.

“You are my genius,” Patrick's mother told him after got his truth off his chest. “You are young, and you are a genius. You are amazing.”

“OK, mom,” he replied.

Kotaku reached out to FaZe for comment but had not heard back at the time of writing. However, they did receive the statement below from an Epic representative:

“Following an Epic investigation and player admission to falsifying age information, we have disqualified a Fortnite competitive player from the events that the player had participated in, including any prize distributions," it reads. "We are updating Fortnite World Cup leaderboards accordingly.”

Patric finally has a clear conscience over this but things don't appear to be that rosy for FaZe, who's being viewed through some very negative lenses right now.
