Casters are a class all their own in the turn-based game Fate/Grand Order. They’re primarily used to counter deadly Assassins and they gain a helpful double damage bonus against Beasts, a rarity in this game.
The best Casters are unfortunately rather hard to obtain as they’re often locked behind limited-time events, special rewards or just an awful summoning rate commonly found in Gacha games like this. These are easily the hardest ones to summon and will take a considerable amount of grinding and luck before you acquire one to use in combat.
10 Nursery Rhyme
Nursery Rhyme is a three-star servant with a 3% chance of being summoned. She comes with a lot of skills that provide useful buffs, such as her main skill Self-Modification that raises her critical damage and the number of critical stars she absorbs for three turns.
Her second skill Shapeshift has a double defense stacking bonus of 30% each and raises her debuff resistance. Her final skill Meanwhile… will charge her NP gauge by 40%, remove all debuffs on her, and regenerate two thousand HP.
9 Helena Blavatsky
She goes by many names, but Helena Blavatsky has a number of useful skills that improve her party’s performance making her a great support Caster. Her main skill, Magical Tuning, will charge the entire party’s NP gauge by 20%.
Her other skill Mahatma will benefit her specifically by giving her 5 critical stars every turn for five turns and has a chance to raise her NP damage by 50%. Her final skill is the real party boosters as it raises everyone’s Quick, Arts, and Buster performance by 20% for three turns.
8 Nitocris
The Avatar Of The Sky, Nitocris is very durable and can be dangerous assuming the 3% summoning odds work in your favor. Her primary skill, Egypt Magecraft, will regenerate three thousand HP and dramatically raises her ability to deal an Instant-Kill by 100% for three turns.
High-Speed Divine Words is her secondary skill that will charge her NP gauge by 120%. Then her third skill Affection Of Horus will give her Guts for three turns and remove any debuffs placed on her. She’s very strong and a great addition to any team.
7 Gilgamesh
Gilgamesh or the Sovereign of Magic Wands is a support caster that can really strengthen your team. His main skill King’s Return will increases your party’s critical star generation by 100% for three turns.
His secondary skill Charisma raises the party’s attack stat by 21% for three turns. Finally, his third skill Sovereign of Magic Wands EX will raise the party’s Arts performance and a chance of landing a debuff on opponents by 30% for three turns.
6 Circe
Circe is an interesting Caster servant that can soften up enemies before boosting herself and the party to capitalize on their weakened stated. Her main skill High-Speed Divine Words charges her NP gauge by 120%.
The second skill Intoxicated Meal inflicts poison on the enemy party that deals one thousand damage for three turns. It also reduces their defenses by 20% for three turns. Her final skill Advice for Sailing will remove any debuffs on her party and increases the party’s critical star generation by 50% for three turns.
5 Scheherazade
Scheherazade is a five-star champion which means there’s only a 1% chance she’ll appear when summoning. If you do pull her she’s a tricky servant that can be helpful for disrupting male enemies and King enemies.
For instance, her main skill is Storyteller EX which reduces one enemy’s NP gauge by one and increases her own Arts performance. Bedchambers Of Survival has a 60% chance to charm all male enemies and increase her defenses by 40%. Then her last skill Counter-Hero will give her Guts and reduces the attack stat of a single King enemy by 50% for one turn.
4 Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II)
Zhuge Liang is very much a support Caster will skills that exclusively benefit the team as a whole. His main skill Discerning Eye will raise a single ally’s critical damage for three turns and charge their NP gauge by 30%.
Advice of the Strategist will increase the party’s defense by 30%, reduce the damage received by 500, and charges the party’s NP gauge by 10%. The final skill Command of the Strategist will raise the party’s attack, damage, and recharge the NP gauges by 10%. His 1% pull rate is awful, but he’s definitely worth it.
3 Tamamo no Mae
Tamamo no Mae is another five-star servant with a 1% summoning rate that can join your team. Her skills are a little difficult to synergize with, but she can be strong under the right setup. Her main ability Witchcraft EX has a chance to reduce an enemy’s NP gauge by 1, but if upgraded to Mantra: Boundless Sunlight will also increase the party’s NP damage, except her own, by 30% for three turns.
Her second skill Shapeshift will raise her defense by 30% and put another 30% defense stack on top of that. Then her third skill Fox’s Wedding EX will raise an ally’s Arts performance by 50% for three turns.
2 Xuanzang Sanzang
Xuanzang Sanzang has a 1% chance of being summoned and is a valuable support tank to have on your team. Her primary skill is High-Speed Sutra Chanting which charges her NP gauge by 80% and raises her NP damage by 20%.
The second skill Bewitching Rosy Cheeks will draw the attention of all enemies for a single turn and reduce the damage she’ll take from those attacks by 1,500 damage points. Her primary support skill is Sanzang’s Teachings which raises the party’s NP generation, critical star generation, and places a debuff immunity on the party.
1 Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova
Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova is a five-star servant with a 1% summoning rate who has a fascinating backstory and makes her a desired character among the fan base. Her main skill Magical Eyes Of Clairvoyance will increase her Arts performance, reduces one enemy’s debuff resistance, and allows her attacks to ignore invincibility buffs.
Her secondary skill Freezing Charisma will raise the party’s attack by 20% for three turns and reduce the enemy party’s attack by 20% for three turns. Her final skill Shvibzik will charge her NP gauge by 50% and gives her a 60% chance to stun an enemy for a turn.
