The top 100 players in FIFA 22 have now been confirmed. There are some familiar faces on the list, as well as some massive rating spikes from last FIFA. These young players, in particular, stand out.
From the superstar Mbappe to the greatly improved Hakimi, these players are the next generation of footballing greats. Expect to see them in future FIFA titles for many years to come. We take a closer look at the top 10 players under the age of 25 in FIFA 22, listed in order of rating.
10 Achraf Hakimi - 22 Years Old
Hakimi's FIFA 22 card looks pretty great. 95 Pace is absurd for a full back, and it's likely that Hakimi will come with a premium price tag, especially considering his links to the big three at PSG: Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar.
His 76 Defending and 78 Physicality are low for a right back, although that made little difference in FIFA 21. Will the meta be different in FIFA 22? Regardless, Hakimi is still one of the fastest players in FIFA this year.
9 Lautaro Martinez - 24 Years Old
Martinez has a very well-rounded card in FIFA 22. The Inter forward has 4-star skills and 4-star weak foot, as well as 84 Pace, 81 Shooting, 85 Dribbling, and 84 Physical. Solid stats in all the right places.
This card will likely be quite expensive at the start of Ultimate Team as Martinez is one of the premium Serie A forwards.
8 Kingsley Coman - 25 Years Old

Coman has an upgraded card in FIFA 22, and it looks great. 93 Pace, 4-star skills, and 88 Dribbling put Coman right up there in terms of technical, pacey wingers in the game.
His 79 Passing and 76 shooting do let him down, though. However, this is still a strong card, and it'll likely be fairly expensive in the first few weeks of Ultimate Team.
7 Rodrigo - 25 Years Old
Rodrigo remains solid in midfield for Manchester City, although his FIFA card is never very popular. That 61 Pace is usually completely unusable, even if his defending stats are pretty solid.
This year, he has 82 Defending and 82 Physical, which will make him useful at the very start of FIFA. There will likely be some much lower-rated CDMs with higher pace that will see more play though. Still good if you pack him, though. SBC fodder.
6 Frenkie De Jong - 24 Years Old
De Jong's FIFA card is great this year. He's got 81 Pace, 85 Passing, and 88 Dribbling, very solid for a midfielder, especially considering there aren't many other top options from La Liga. He also has 4-star skills.
Barcelona might be having a bit of a rough old time at the moment, but at least they've still got Frenkie.
5 Jadon Sancho - 21 Years Old
Sancho's move to Manchester United was a massive signing for the club, although he hasn't had the most productive start to his time in the Premier League.
His FIFA card was sort of popular last year, but again, that lack of pace can kill cards like this...even if it is at 81. Definitely not the slowest midfielder/winger in the game, but also not the fastest. His 5-star skills and 91 Dribbling do make up for it though.
4 Trent Alexander-Arnold - 22 Years Old
There's almost no one in world football that can whip a cross like Trent. The Liverpool full back is widely regarded as one of the best in the business. He's been in the PFA Team of the Year twice.
His FIFA card isn't always the most popular compared to other right backs that have more pace. However, his 87 rated card in FIFA 22 might buck the trend, thanks to the 88 passing...if the meta allows it.
3 Erling Haaland - 21 Years Old
An absolute goal-scoring machine (literally like a bulldozer with a good left foot), Erling Haaland gets a significant rating boost up to 88 year this. There are some monstrous stats here: 89 Pace, 91 Shooting, and 88 Physicality. Only 3-star, 3-star, but that shouldn't matter as you barrel toward the goal.
He's currently sat at 45 goals in 47 appearances for Borussia Dortmund. Did you know he also scored a record nine goals in a single match during the FIFA 20 under-20 world cup? Mbappe and Haaland may be a modern rivalry to match that of Ronaldo and Messi, although time will tell.
2 Gianluigi Donnarumma - 22 Years Old
England fans, look away. Gianluigi Donnarumma is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, and he's only just getting started. 22 years old and saving penalties in the final of the Euros.
He's also joined PSG alongside the likes of Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar, so he might be in for another good season if he can get minutes past Navas.
1 Kylian Mbappe - 22 Years Old
Kylian Mbappe is only 22 years old. He's already won the World Cup and PSG look set to be real contenders for the Champions League this season, as long as they don't bottle it. Mpabbe is this year's FIFA cover star.
In terms of his FIFA 22 card? Well, it's ridiculous, really. Game-breaking is probably a better term for it. 97 Pace. That alone is enough to send shivers through my controller. Add to that Mbappe's clinical shooting and technical dribbling...Weekend League is going to be hell.
