It's been revealed that FIFA 22 will let players create their own clubs and rise up in the leagues in Career Mode.

In a press release first shared by PushSquare, FIFA 22 will apparently include a brand new "Create a Club experience" that will seemingly allow players to design their own teams and work their way up through the leagues to take on the biggest teams in world football. There are no details as to how deep the customization will be, but it's presumed that you'll be able to design your own kit and badge.

While this is a new feature for FIFA, PES has had customizable clubs for a while with its Master League mode. It's possible that this new "Create a Club" mode will be quite similar to PES's Master League mode, giving you a few average players to work with until you earn more money to buy better players.

If other recent rumors are to be believed, Career Mode could be getting quite shake-up in FIFA 22. It was recently revealed thanks to a job listing that FIFA 22's Career Mode will also be getting some kind of online functionality, possibly hinting at the inclusion of the long-requested online Career Mode.

For those of you not particularly interested in Career Mode, EA's press release also mentions the addition of a new set of cards that will be coming to the game's Ultimate Team mode. These new Hero cards will supposedly represent some of the "cult players and fan favorites" from across the globe, with the first batch of players being Mario Gomes, Tim Cahill, and Robbie Keane.

A reveal trailer was recently revealed for FIFA 22, giving us a release date for the title. FIFA 22 is expected to launch on October 1st for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It's worth noting that those purchasing the game on previous generation systems will have to purchase the ultimate edition of the game if they want a free next-gen upgrade.
