What's this? A decent value SBC for a player in a position that was sorely needed in the league? The Wirtz Bundesliga POTM in FIFA 22 is a solid card at a very reasonable price.
Coming in at around 50-60k on Xbox and PlayStation, Wirtz is a player that will right into your Bundesliga team. 86-rated as a base which jumps up to a solid 90-rated card with a Maestro, Hunter, or pretty much any other valid chem style. Here's a closer look at the card.
Is Wirtz Worth The Coins?
Compared to pretty much every other recent SBC - except maybe Benzema or Talisca - the cost-to-value ratio for Wirtz is very solid. If you've got a Bundesliga team then this card is a great pickup.
This was a position that was a bit lacking in the Bundes. You've got the Ricken hero card (a very well-balanced, decently meta card) but that comes in for closer to 80k than Wirtz's more reasonable 50k. You can get the card even cheaper with a bit of fodder from your club.
It only requires an 84 and an 85-rated squad and the card is available for 30 days in total, which means you can pick him up whenever you've got a few spare players knocking about the club.
How Good Are Wirtz's Stats?
In short, Wirtz's stats are very good. Here's a look at some of the highlights.
- 81 Pace, up to 91 with a Hunter. 96 Acceleration and 87 Finishing. Puts him up there with the fastest midfielders in the game, let alone the Bundes.
- 88 Shooting (with a Hunter), including 94 Positioning, 94 Finishing, and 92 Volleys.
- Excellent passing, with 93 Vision and 89 Short Passing.
- Great Dribbling, with 91 in Agility and 87 in Balance.
- 93 Stamina.
- He also has four-star skills and a four-star weak foot.
- Outside the foot shot trait and flair trait. Both great.
These stats are really good. Really, really good. If you want to test out Wirtz before you complete this POTM SBC, try out the TOTW card. It's slightly lower-rated and much cheaper, but it will give you a decent idea of what to expect from this card. The first impression is that this card is solid - try it out, a Bundesliga team is always cheaper than the Prem, anyway.
