It's that time of year when many of us like to stuff our faces with chocolate eggs, so that means Final Fantasy 14 is hosting its annual Hatching-tide event so the citizens of Eorzea can celebrate too. This year you can snag yourself a brand-new minion, new emote, and some eggcellent new furnishings.

The event will run from today until April 27, 2022, at 7:59am (PDT)/14:59 (GMT) and cannot be completed after this time. Be sure to finish the seasonal event before that time to get all of the rewards. Here's what you need to know.

'Hippity, Hoppity, Happily' Quest Walkthrough

Head to Old Gridania and speak to Jihli Aliapoh at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) to begin the 'Hippity, Hoppity, Happily' seasonal quest. You must be Level 15 or above to begin this quest.

Next head to (X:5.2, Y:7.8) in Old Gridania and speak to Nonotta — the nearest Aethernet Shard is the Botanist's Guild.

You now need to speak to the witnesses. You can find them at:

You don't actually need to speak to all witnesses, after speaking to the Bewildered Botanist, you can head straight to the Hatching-tide Helpmeet to progress the quest.

Next, you need to complete the FATE 'Happiness is a Warm Bunny' in the Central Shroud — Bentbranch Meadows is the nearest Aetheryte. The FATE takes place around (X:25, Y:29.)

After completing the FATE, you'll earn some Fortune Eggs for your troubles (which we'll get to later). Return to Jihli Aliapoh at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) in Old Gridania, then speak to Nonotta who is now just beside Jihli.

Speak to Jihli Aliapoh at (X:10.2, Y:9.4) once more to complete the quest and earn yourself the Hatching Bunny minion and the 'Happy Hunting' achievement.

How Do You Get The 'An Egg A Day' Emote?

What about the rest of the seasonal event items? Well, that's where those Fortune Eggs come into play. Speak to the Dreamer Egg Advocate in the blue chicken suit at (X:10.2, Y:9.2) in Old Gridania to spend your hard-earned eggies.

You can repeat the FATE as often as you like to earn more Fortune Eggs while the event is active. The higher the FATE rating you receive, the more Fortune eggs you will get, Gold gets you ten, Silver gets you 5, etc.

The Dreamer's store only becomes available once you've completed the 'Hippity, Hoppity, Happily' seasonal quest.
