Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to PC next week, ending its PlayStation exclusivity. It will be available via the Epic Games Store, with no Steam release announced.

The long-awaited PC port will be with us next week, and includes both the base Final Fantasy 7 Remake game and Intergrade DLC.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake originally launched in March 2020, exclusively for PlayStation 4. It was later brought over to PlayStation 5, featuring enhanced graphics and an improved framerate. It also came alongside an expansion story, Intergrade, which is also bundled with the PC release.

While PC gamers may be a bit miffed to see the Epic Games Store exclusivity, they at least won't have to wait too long to play it. It's set to launch December 16, so next Thursday.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake offers a new take on the events of the original Final Fantasy 7, focussing on certain areas much more than the 1997 release. It adds so much more detail that it only actually covers the events of Midgar, so just a fraction of the full story. There's no word on when the next part will be with us, and we're not expecting anything soon considering how busy Square Enix has been recently.
