Aerith's English voice actress, Briana White, has just shared some preview photos of her in full character cosplay - and they look absolutely stunning.

One of the most prevalent parts of any fandom is watching fans dress up as characters from the films, TV shows, and video games they adore so much. Whether it's for a convention, Halloween, or just to express themselves, it's a fun and creative way for people to celebrate their favorite characters.

Actress and digital content creator Briana White, who plays Aerith in 2020's Final Fantasy VII Remake, decided to do just that and don her character's signature red jacket, pink dress, brown hair, and flowers. She shared the first photos of her cosplay shoot over the weekend on her Twitter.

"Beyond excited to share these first two photos of my Aerith cosplay," White tweeted out, "How lucky am I to voice her?" She ended her tweet by promising more pictures to come in the future.

She shared an additional photo on her Instagram, saying, "Third shot from my first cosplay shoot ever! It was a lot of work & I had a lot of help. Still, I was so nervous the whole time! I have so much more respect for cosplayers after doing one myself. But how rewarding is it to see a shot like this? This must be what it's all for."

White also credited her photographer @MartinWongPhoto, stylist @helloiamkate, and costume designer @LadyxZero on both platforms.

Reactions to the initial photos have been overwhelmingly positive, with many people commenting on how perfect White looks in Aerith cosplay. Fellow Final Fantasy VII Remake voice actors Britt Baron (Tifa) and Erica Lindbeck (Jessie) showered White with compliments on both platforms. Even Square Enix replied to White's Twitter pictures with a reply full of hearts to show their love for the cosplay.

According to White's captions, there are still "more pics to come," meaning fans can expect to see even more photos from this epic cosplay shoot in the future.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is available now, exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The game was initially released on April 10, 2020.
