The release of Final Fantasy VII Remake is only one week away and Square Enix has uploaded one last trailer for the game. This trailer shows some new content alongside familiar faces.

Square Enix revealed almost no new footage of Final Fantasy VII Remake after initially announcing it at E3 2015, but that all changed in 2019, which saw a number of new trailers throughout the year.

Fans have managed to learn more about the game than Square Enix had hoped. People were able to access the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo on the PlayStation Network before it went live and were able to datamine it for secrets. This means that some of the game's biggest revelations are already out in the wild.

The official PlayStation YouTube channel has now uploaded the last trailer of Final Fantasy VII Remake, leading up to the game launch on April 10.

The new trailer seems to suggest that the Kalm flashback sequence has been pushed forward to the Midgar section of the game, based on the scene with Cloud's mother. The characters from The Kids Are Alright seem to have a bigger role than people realized, based on Kyrie and Leslie's appearances in the trailer. Rufus Shinra and his boss battle make an appearance in the trailer and it seems to be the same as the one from the original Final Fantasy VII, down to his Dark Nation ally. The boss battle against the Motor Ball appears to only involve Cloud on his bike, which is an improvement over the standing battle that happened in the original game.

The Hell House makes an appearance and it looks like everything we dreamed it would be. There's a new scene where Sephiroth stabs Barret. There's also another new scene where the AVALANCHE members are struck by an attack that looks similar to Sephiroth's Super Nova Limit Break as they're trapped inside a fiery dome with a black heart. The final scene shows someone in SOLDIER garb approaching a darkened city, with some fans speculating that it could (somehow) be Zack Fair.

Is it April 10 yet?
