Edelgard von Hresvelg, for those who aren't aware, is the head of the Black Eagles House in the newest Fire Emblem title, Three Houses. She's also -- and I'm diving deep into spoiler territory here, so be warned -- secretly the Flame Emperor who declares war on the Garreg Mach Monastery and overwhelms the forces there.
Also, she's really cute and you can date her!
So, with that in mind, there's no doubt fans out there who know that the best waifu is the waifu who can, and will, put entire nations to the sword in a show of strength.
You know, a Tsundere!
I mean, sure, you eventually discover that she's got some legitimate grievances with the apparently-benevolent leader of the Church of Seiros, so that might help you overlook all the conquest and murder. That's only if you really want to make goo-goo eyes at her. It's a good thing, too, because otherwise this game where you're a teacher who dates their students might end seeming a little bit weird.
As for the Edelgard Figma, itself, it's fully posable. The figure comes with a stand that lets you place it in poses that might otherwise make Edelgard fall flat on her face the moment that physics decide to get in the way. Both her Axe and Aymr are included, as are two faceplates that let you choose between a smiley or screamy Edelgard.
The Figma won't be released until July of 2020. It costs 8,000 yen, which right now converts to just under $75. With the way currencies fluctuate in value, it's hard to say what the price will be by the time it's available.
