The latest DLC update for Fire Emblem: Three Houses comes with a slew of new features for our favorite students at the Officers Academy - but the most important and entertaining addition is the fact that players can now put everyone in their pajamas.

Nintendo released a new software update for Fire Emblem: Three Houses this past week that came with brand new features, including the addition of an extra hard "Maddening" difficulty mode, five new auxiliary battles, male Byleth's new voice actor, and new attire. "House Loungewear" can be worn by Byleth and their students inside the monastery. Like the other outfit choices in New Game Plus, these outfits can be accessed from Byleth's personal quarters by using their journal.

Girls wear sleeveless tops with shorts that go down to their mid-thighs, while the boys wear short-sleeved tops with pants that go down to their knees. Each house features its own unique loungewear design; red, blue, and yellow are the colors of the Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and Golden Deer loungewear, respectively. Additionally, if you choose to side with the Church of Seiros in Part II, the loungewear changes to black with a Crest of Flames on the breast pocket to reflect this path.

Reactions to this new line of attire have been positive and humorous, with many fans getting a kick out of the fact that they can even send some of their students to kill enemies wearing basically pajamas, as some specific unit classes can wear their loungewear into battle.

Though Nintendo has officially dubbed these new outfits as "loungewear", fans have additionally compared the attire to soccer uniforms or even furthered the Hogwarts analogy by comparing them to Quidditch uniforms, especially in cutscenes when all the students are together.

It's nice to know that even during a stressful and dangerous war, Byleth and their students can at least be comfortable in their pajamas while fighting their former classmates and friends as enemies in battle.
