F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch first arrived on PlayStation last month. A Metroidvania sidescroller with graphics far above your typical Metroidvania, F.I.S.T. tight combat, breathtaking visuals, and compact story gave the game quite a few positive reviews on Metacritic. And now, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch has made the leap to PC with even more visual upgrades.

In case you missed F.I.S.T.'s preview, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch tells the story of Rayton, an anthropomorphic rabbit who used to be an ace pilot before Torch City became overrun with The Legion and its army of robot canines. After six years of occupation, Rayton decides he's finally had enough and takes up arms against The Legion using a giant mechanical fist he carries on his back--hence the name.

Although the game is called F.I.S.T., no Metroidvania would be complete without a few weapon options, so Rayton also gets a whip and a drill later on in the story. A 15-hour campaign awaits those who are looking for a focused story that won't demand too much of their time, although you could certainly spend more than 15 hours exploring Torch City's many tunnels, shortcuts, and secret passages in its interconnected map.

But what really sets F.I.S.T. apart is just how gorgeous this game looks. Even on the PlayStation 4, Rayton and the other furry denizens of Torch City have a fidelity that's hard to match, and on the PS5 you can really see the gritty undertones of F.I.S.T.'s dieselpunk aesthetic.

F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch is now available on PC via Steam, with an Epic Games Store version coming later this month. For the PC release, F.I.S.T. gets ray-tracing support, along with DLSS And Nvidia's Reflex technology, provided you have a monitor and mouse that can take advantage of it. Additional language support also comes on the PC version, with the PlayStation versions to receive those languages later.
