The Five Flushes of Fortune event keeps on rolling in Genshin Impact, and yes, we’ve already been out to photograph a bunch of creatures to make your life much easier. Isn’t that nice of us? We’ve already been out to find Red Items and Blue Creatures from the first two days of the event, and now on day three we’re tasked with finding Red Creatures. This is, honestly, both easier and harder than I had first assumed.
Honestly, the first thing I did was seek out some standard hilichurls, as I had always just assumed they were red. Turns out they’re mostly brown, or something. Maybe my brain was just looking for the Bokoblin similarities so I have another reason to say Genshin Impact is heavily inspired by Breath of the Wild. Or maybe it’s the fact that I’m colourblind. Who knows the reality, honestly.
Regardless of the situation, I have found the creatures you need to photograph, and I’m going to break them all down and where to find them in this guide. What Exactly Counts As A “Red Creature” In Genshin Impact?
This one is pretty simple. Although chasing around standard hilichurls didn’t work for me, finding those that wielded Pyro abilities certainly did. The Berseker and Pyro hilichurls are excellent for completing this task - as long as they don’t spot you. As soon as they do spot you, they’ll come running to ruin your day, regardless of whether you’re trying to set them up for a nice photograph.
Another excellent enemy to hunt down is the slimes. Pyro slimes - which often hang around in the same places as Pyro hilichurls - will all count as a red creature, and will help you to quickly get the ten photographs you need to complete this challenge.
Where To Find And Photograph Red Creatures In Genshin Impact
So I went out to hunt for red creatures, both hilichurls and slimes, and I am pleased to report that I did, eventually, find exactly what we all need, and they are located in the Stormbearer Mountains.
Some of the enemies in the mountains can be tough, but there’s a good mix of Cryo and Pyro creatures hiding in the mountains. Seek out the pyro slimes and hilichurls, and this quest will be completed very quickly - especially if you snap a photo and run, instead of sticking around to fight them afterwards. Just go to the location on the map above, find the nearby tower, and there will be plenty of hilichurls and slime for you to find in the nearby area.
