Outsiders is an expansion to the Flesh and Blood trading card game that takes you through a complex network of tunnels known as the Pits, from which a plethora of shady heroes new and old will make their next move. Being the first expansion to include multiple new heroes per class, you'll be able to experience a new level of freedom when choosing who to build in Constructed or Blitz.

Thanks to the mechanics that Outsiders has introduced to the meta, many of the cards available in the expansion are worth hundreds of dollars. Whether you’re planning to sell, display, or play with these cards, it's worth knowing which ones you'll be getting from your booster packs at a steal.

10 Premeditate - $18.21

Premeditate Card From Flesh And Blood

Premeditate's price is dwarfed in comparison to the other expensive cards that Outsiders has to offer, but even if its value doesn't hit the hundreds, it's still a great generic action card that earns its spot as the tenth most expensive of the expansion.

The effects of this card make it a solid pick for any deck, giving value through not only a Ponder token, but a significant attack boost to the next attack action you play and the chance to go again. While not necessarily game-changing, this is the sort of card that sets up for the much rarer game-winners.

9 Vambrace Of Determination - $149.00

Vambrace Of Determination Card From Flesh And Blood

This piece of equipment is true to its name, designed to get you through particularly tough defenses – its once-per-turn attack reaction decreases the efficacy of opponent attack prevention by one, allowing you to force your attacks and on-hit effects to land.

With how dominant Oldhim has been in the competitive scene, this is a must-have when trying to counter his Crown of Seeds. Even if it sits on your sideboard for a majority of matchups, the few times the Vambrace of Determination does come out make its steep price tag worth it.

8 Codex Of Inertia - $151.49

Codex Of Intertia Card From Flesh And Blood

The Codex of Intertia is the weakest in Codex series of cards, which only speaks to how powerful its siblings must be. When played, this card forces all heroes to put the top of the deck into their arsenal and discard a card. On top of that, while you obtain a Ponder token, all of your opponents have to take an Inertia token.

Though the card does give opponents the ability to get closer to their key cards, the Inertia effect completely removes unused cards from both their hand and arsenal. Though it can be extremely situational, the Codex of Inertia is still good enough to warrant a more than 150-dollar price tag.

7 Flick Knives - $183.18

Flick Knives Card From Flesh And Blood

Outsiders introduces new ways to play the Assassin and Ninja through the Flick Knives card, which takes advantage of both classes' ability to gain access to their sideboards mid-game. The effect of this card allows you to destroy your current dagger in order to hit the target hero with it for a measly point of damage.

What makes this forced attack good is the fact that many of the best daggers available have devastating on-hit effects, so being able to push a hit through can completely turn the game around in your favor. Since there's now a way to equip new daggers from your sideboard, you no longer need to worry about losing your ability to attack, making the Flick Knives a hot commodity for Ninjas and Assassins everywhere.

6 Plague Hive - $197.68

Plague Hive Card From Flesh And Blood

Plague Hive is one of the few cards that takes advantage of the pitching mechanic in its actual effect, only activating when the card itself is pitched for resource points. When you do this, you give each of your opponents a Frailty, Inertia, or Bloodrot Plox token at random, taking a heavy toll on their plans for that turn.

The strength of the effect is the reason why this card is worth so much green, as you can effectively stop any big combat chains in your enemies' pockets while also gaining resource points for use with your own cards. There was a clear attempt to prevent its destructive power by making it a Legendary card, but not even reducing its presence in your deck can stop its ability to change the pace of a game.

5 Quiver Of Abyssal Depths - $208.65

Quiver Of Abyssal Depths Card From Flesh And Blood

The class of equipment that Outsiders introduces, the Quiver, holds a special place in the Flesh and Blood arena. Not being a full-fledged weapon, the Quiver instead gets to share a space with any equipped bow, thereby giving the Ranger an extra effect to use with very little hassle.

The Quiver of Abyssal Depths stands out in this class due to its sheer utility, allowing three arrows from your graveyard to make their way back into your deck. Since the Ranger class lives and dies on how efficiently they use their collection of arrows, it makes complete sense that such an ability would net a high price.

4 Trench Of Sunken Treasure - $291.65

Trench Of Sunken Treasure Card From Flesh And Blood

The Trench of Sunken Treasure is a piece of Ranger Equipment that allows you to put a card from your arsenal back into your deck for a resource point, and then use a resource to negate one point of damage.

This effect synergizes extremely well with the Ranger's playstyle, given that you'll often be arsenaling arrows for use in combat chains – when playing the class, most arrows have the same value in play, meaning that it isn't a big deal to sacrifice one when you have so many more to leverage. This essentially gives the Ranger a regular way to deny damage, which is probably why it's in such high demand.

3 Redback Shroud - $349.64

Redback Shroud Card From Flesh And Blood

In the spirit of Dynasty's Assassin equipment items, Outsiders has introduced the Redback Shroud, a piece of chest equipment that can be re-equipped from the graveyard for two silver. Thanks to the Assassin's key bounty cards, the silver necessary to regularly bring this card back is easily obtained.

If you remember how dominant the Blacktek Whisperers were due to their attack reaction that allowed you to go again, it should be easy to see just how powerful the Redback Shroud can be when giving discounts to card costs. If you play the Assassin correctly, you'll have far more flexibility with limited resource points, justifying this card's spot as the third most valuable in Outsiders.

2 Codex Of Bloodrot - $399.19

Codex of Bloodrot Card From Flesh And Blood

The second most expensive card to come out of Outsiders, Codex of Bloodrot, is another one of the unique Hybrid cards that were born from the expansion. Like Codex of Inertia, this card can work in both Ranger and Assassin decks.

The effect of this card forces all heroes to place a card from their hand into their arsenal, giving you a Ponder token and your opponents the Bloodrot Pox token. This way, while you're enjoying your newly earned card advantage, your opponents are spending their resource points to avoid incurring damage. The 400-dollar fee to obtain this card is well worth it just for the stopping power it has against opponent plays.

1 Codex Of Frailty - $399.99

Codex Of Frailty Card From Flesh And Blood

Codex of Frailty was the first hybrid card to be revealed from Outsiders, and is arguably the best of the set. While it can do fine when used for Ranger decks, this card really shines when used to serve Assassins like Arakni.

The effect of this card allows all heroes to put an attack action from their graveyard into their arsenal, so long as they discard a card from their hand – for the Assassin class, who relies on a small cluster of specific cards in a deck, this is a godsend that allows the most important components of their offense to get into their hand as fast as possible. For all the things it does right, it makes sense that it would be the most valuable card in Outsiders.
