Fnatic has revealed their updated Dota 2 roster for the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit. These changes come as a response to their poor showing at The International last month, where they dropped out in 13-16th place. The team has replaced two players, and shifted the Captain responsibilities back to Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong.

The post-TI shuffles have come to Fnatic, who have released both Abed "Abed" Yusop and Kim "DuBu" Doo-young from the active lineup. This move follows their lackluster performance at The International 2019, where they were eliminated in the first round of the lower bracket by eventual grand finalists Team Liquid. DuBu had originally joined the team as a coach for the 2018-2019 DPC season, though he stepped in to play support for their run at The International 2019. Abed originally joined the team in 2017, and is one of the longest-running members of Fnatic's Dota 2 squad. According to Fnatic's announcement, Abed decided not to resign with the organization following the end of his contract. It is unclear whether DuBu decided the same, or if it was the team's decision to release him as his contract ended.

On Abed's departure, Fnatic stated that it was "the end of an era," and that "his incredible talent was a joy to watch." Fnatic goes on to say that "[they] know without a doubt that his career will be legendary." It is currently unknown what is next for Abed or DuBu.

The team now brings on Mineski's Kam "Moon" Boon Seng and 17-year-old Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon to fill the roster. Moon had a similar exit from TI9, finishing in 9-12th place after an exciting battle with Team Secret in the lower bracket. These two will join existing Fnatic members Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, Djardel "DJ" Mampusti, and Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong. The latter of which will be moving back to the hard support position after a brief stint as a position one carry. Jabz will also take over the Captain position after DuBu had held the spot during TI9. The squad now looks towards the 2019-2020 Dota Pro Circuit, which is set to begin in November.
