Footage for a potential game based on The Mandalorian has leaked online.

As spotted by ResetEra user Luke_wal, a video has surfaced on YouTube that shows five minutes from a potential game based on The Mandalorian. It's unknown how legitimate the footage is, but it looks like it could be the real deal and wouldn't be too surprising considering the numerous rumours of a game based on the show.

The footage starts by showing the title screen, which shows Grogu sat by a fire. According to this screen the game will simply be titled, "Star Wars: The Mandalorian". Further leaks show the game being given the same name in an Xbox dashboard notification. The screen shows several options, such as being able to choose between different chapters, one named "This is the way".

After the title screen, the footage shows The Mandalorian descending in an elevator aboard a ship of some kind. He then sees two stormtroopers ahead of him, taking them out with some third-person shooting combat. The Mandalorian then uses his grapple to swing across a gap, before hiding from some more Stormtroopers and picking up a weapon upgrade.

From the footage, it seems like the game is a linear, third-person shooter with some platforming and exploration elements. The footage ends with a short cutscene, before cutting to black.

If this is a fake, it's an incredibly elaborate one, with unique art on the load screens, whole environments modelled, and gameplay elements completely coded. It still looks a little janky, but it's a promising showing already.

What makes the leak seem even more legitimate is that it looks like the game is being shown off to a small crowd of people, perhaps as an alpha or tech demo. You can clearly see several people in the video, as well as someone turning up the volume on the screen, as if it was being presented. The YouTube title is also a series of random letters, implying it was never meant to be found.
