10 The Faultless Cloak
The Faultless cloak gives Frey a higher chance of landing a critical hit, but it does come with conditions. This effect is only in action if Frey has a near-full health bar. So while it is a handy feature, it might only help you for the first couple of hits or so until your opponent lands a blow themselves.
Critical hits aren’t a 100 percent guarantee with the Faultless cloak either, so while it is great when they do land, the effect is more of a limited-time offer with no guarantee. But it was worn by Tanta Prav, so that’s pretty cool.
9 The Monsterful Cloak
If you’re a countering master, the Monsterful cloak will be an absolute gem in your arsenal. There are three possible boosts the Monsterful cloak can give you, each of which activates after a successful cuff counter.
The Monsterful cloak allows cuff counters to boost attack, boost defense, and trigger auto-heal. These are three pretty valuable boosts, and combined with the general greatness of mastering cuff counters, this cloak can make you an absolute force to be reckoned with.
8 The Audacious Cloak
The Audacious cloak can reduce the amount of damage that Frey takes if her stamina bar is full. An effect that reduces damage is a great help in any video game, even if it is conditional.
When all the ability slots are unlocked, it also provides stat boosts that would have been pretty handy on their own, but when combined with the extra protection the Audacious cloak provides with a full stamina bar, it becomes pretty valuable.
7 The Puissant Cloak
The Puissant cloak is a unique cloak with an interesting effect. Rather than just offering a stat boost like many other cloaks, the Puissant cloak’s effect is triggered by the number of enemies Frey faces at once.
When Frey is surrounded or finds herself outnumbered by foes, the Puissant cloak boosts her surge magical recharge rate. This means that the Puissant cloak is only effective in certain scenarios, but it can back her out of some pretty tight corners.
6 The Fearless Cloak
The Fearless cloak is one of the more stylish ones on this list, as well as being one of the most valuable. This cloak restores health once an enemy has been defeated. Health is something that you want to make sure you have ample of at any given time. So having the ability to restore some for free is a priceless advantage. Coupling this cloak with a brand-new manicure also makes Frey look very fancy, which is another bonus to add to the Fearless cloak's resume.
5 The Gracious Cloak
The Gracious cloak is like the sister cloak of Fearless. It is missing the hood of the Fearless cloak, so they’re not quite twins, but they definitely still look like they’re related. If you loved the way the Fearless cloak looked, but its effect wasn’t quite your style, this could be a suitable alternative.
The Gracious cloak boosts Frey's defense when a healing item is used. This can be extremely handy because whenever you’re using a healing item, it’s safe to say you might be in a little trouble. Having another extra defensive bonus during a rough patch can be a game-changer in battle.
4 The Judicious Cloak
If you’ve been trying to recreate the wardrobe of Tanta Prav, you might want to look into collecting the Judicious cloak to hang next to the Faultless cloak in your inventory. It has a pretty handy effect as well.
The Judicious cloak makes Frey immune to dazing, which can make all the difference when taking on particular enemies. Daze quickly drains your stamina and severely restricts your ability to dodge, so the Judicious cloak can be a lifesaver in certain areas where there are a lot of enemies that can inflict it.

The Unstoppable cloak is, well, unstoppable. Not only is it one of the best-looking pieces of cloth that can adorn Frey, but it is also widely considered one of the most powerful. The Unstoppable cloak boosts the attack power of magic that is used during Parkour, which makes flinging spells at enemies while flying around that much more satisfying.
But the Unstoppable cloak doesn’t stop there. It also greatly reduces landing damage, which is something everyone must be wary of when engaging in Parkour.
1 The Veriment Cloak
The topic of whether the Unstoppable cloak or the Veriment cloak is the strongest in the game is a hot debate, but several characteristics work in the Veriment cloak's favor. Four of them, to be exact. We are, of course, referring to the Veriment cloak's four ability slots, which is extremely rare.
The Veriment cloak has some tricks up its sleeve, or under its folds, rather. It boosts damage, increases surge magic and stamina recharge rates, as well as boosting Frey’s critical hit rate. Granted, these effects only activate while Frey’s health is low, but that’s when Frey can use all the help she can get, right? It can also be obtained much earlier on in the game when Frey is weaker in general, and stat boosts are warmly welcomed.
